The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

"Bet that has it's own GLP post..." "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow." |

Resister User ID: 1461638 United States 09/05/2012 07:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yellowstone is a very geothermic active area. So some rumbles are to be expected. Doesn't mean that the super volcano is going to go. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23018311 A 3.7 is just a burp in California and doesn't even rate a mention in the Philippines, but a 3.7 in Yellowstone is something to pay attention to. I think I misread the map, the green areas are mountainous, the white areas are valleys.. So it's the mountains steaming.. Plot thickens? I was camping at Union Valley Reservoir this weekend, and the entire lake was letting little pockets of bubbles up from the lake bed, everywhere. I actually saw bubbles come up from the sand with no apparent creature below the bubbles. |
