There's many things that are forgivable even if they're a bit sheepish, but sports have this component of my team vs your team, I root for my team because I identify with it, because my family did, because it's because where I am from, etc etc, it's a whole lot of social programming being exposed at once, the kind of programming that creates people who then buy into all the other lies of the system. Just like SHR who thinks Zionist Romney will fix America just because he defends conservative law abiding tax payers and exalts company owners and is "not a commie" like Ocommie.
