Sky lit up a bright bluish green color...followed by static electricity sound in air

This happened early yesterday morning around 5am in Morrow, Georgia! I was up looking out the window because my neighbors dog had been barking for HOURS...so loudly that my fiance and I were up about to call the police....As I was looking out the window at the yard where the dog was...A sudden flash of a brilliantly bright bluish/greenish light lit up the whole sky and even our bedroom! Then right after I heard what sounded like a voltage sound or static electricity coming from the sound...very brief. Needless to say, we were both like...What The F%@#K was that!?

Has this happened to anyone else?

We both came to the agreement that it was paranormal..had to have been a UFO either entering/exiting, or one flying closely by
