'British' family shot in France were Iraqi,..
French police have just released the identity of the 'British' man driving the car where the family were shot in France.

I googled the man's name, Saad Al-Hilli, who was born in Iraq, and it turns out he runs an aerial surveillance business based in Wiltshire (where there's a huge military base) in the UK.

Police have said that the hit looked professional, 'like an assassination'. It was carried out with a semi-automatic. Doesn't sound like a straightforward car-jacking to me!

Really mysterious. 2 little girls survived, one badly injured and one hid under the bodies of the 2 women? Wasnt found for hours after police arrived? Witness protection there for a start. Poor girls. Looks like a hit, the cyclist killed because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time maybe?

Suggest pin until facts come out about this.

Three of the people killed in the French Alps were shot in the head in an execution style slaying, authorities said today.

However, detectives refused to speculate as to why the man and two women were targeted by gunmen. Officials said they did not want to speculate today as to any motive for the shooting.

Police sources told French news agency AFP that the father was Iraqi born Saad Al-Hilli, 50, who is thought to be secretary of an aerial photography company based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

The victims in the car had been hit by at least 15 bullets.

some real strange stuff about this,
when it was reported over here on the radio for the first time it was really emphasized that they found the young child alive AT EXACTLY 12 O clock, EXACTLY.
byciclist came by and saw the shooter probably,
so he did not double check and went for the byciclist

He was working with drones?

If it is a hit then it will be by a country which is friendly with France but not the UK. They could have shot this guy any time in the UK but they waited until he was in France. If they shot the right person that is.

Also everyone is talking about the father but what about the other people killed. Any one of them could have been the target.

About the girl which has been seriously hurt :
"Her state improves slowly ", but she has to be re-operated, specified the prosecutor. She was plunged by this fact into an artificial coma.
"We have the feeling that it was hard on this little girl", has emphasized the prosecutor during a press conference in Annecy. The child was struck by how "extremely violent" and "a priori" been wounded by a bullet".

Interestingly I had a false report, that the charges against Assange had been dropped, sent to me today. This was from a, usually, reliable mainstream source.

Apparently the victims were all shot in the head.
