According to an ex-colleague at the Rutherford lab in Didcot, Oxon, Saad worked on a giant particle accelerator which can make radioactive material.

Nice find dude, this is getting very murky, almost like a spy film, all we are missing is a bad guy with a white cat.

Thanks mate!

Everything seems to revolve around "Nuclear material", the Frenchman worked for Arera, (Uranium)

An ex-companion worker of Al Hilli was arrested very recently trying to sell CERN secrets to Al Qaeda, his name was Dr Adlene Hicheur, both he and Saad al Hilli worked for the same top secret lab.

Torchia was born in 1620. He was apprenticed in Leyden under the Elzevir family. After returning to Venice he published small works on philosophical and esoteric themes. In 1666, Torchia published De Umbrarum Regni Novem Portis (The Nine Doors to the Kingdom of Shadows), which was in turn based on the Delomelanicon, or Invocation of Darkness, a work supposedly written by Lucifer and that would allow the reader to summon devils. The Inquisition condemned Torchia for magic and witchcraft and burned him at the stake in 1667.

And now read this:

A brilliant young nuclear scientist who was arrested in France last week over alleged links to Al Qaeda had worked for a top-secret British nuclear research centre.
Last night fears were growing that Dr Adlene Hicheur – who was a researcher for the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire for a year – could have been planning a nuclear attack in the UK.
The French government said yesterday that the arrest of Hicheur, 32, and his brother Dr Halim Hicheur, 25, could have averted a terrorist atrocity.
They were seized after an 18-month investigation by French anti-terrorist police hours before Adlene Hicheur was due to travel to the laboratory where he now works at, CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research near Geneva.
Halim Hicheur carries out research at similar high-security scientific institutions around Europe.

I agree with all of this, actually Brief said "muzzie" and I modified it to talk about geography rather than religion.

I have no idea what happened, I'll never know, and if there's an authoritative story it will probably be a lie, and even if it isn't there's no way for me to know that.

This stuff is all too far away and we shouldn't be involved in it. All kinds of stuff goes on all over the world, and I don't need all of it brought to my attention (selectively of course.) That's why I am aggressive in tuning it out.

So it's not that I don't want to know the whole story, more like I've decided that this is the sort of thing it's not worth my time to follow, and it's ridiculous to have our politicians spending their time on this stuff.

Its sickening there are people out there capable of carrying out an attack like this.
A professional hit like this would have been carried out by a team of killers, probably 3 or 4.
Whats REALLY scary, is these people are probably working for and trained by a government.
The funny thing is there is already attempts being made to spin this into being the dead guys fault and linking him to al qaeda, and make him out to be some sort of evil mastermind trying to carry out a nuclear attack or sell nuclear secrets.

In a previous post I asked could anyone confirm the rumours that the Swedish passport didn't belong to the older lady.

It WAS confirmed today in a press conference by the Prosecutor Mr Maillaud.

"Mr Maillaud says: The Swedish authorities have been contacted. The only confirmation we have is the passport corresponds to a person of Swedish nationality who lives in Sweden.

At the moment no link has been made between the passport and the older woman or her relationship to the family."

Proposal to BRIEF:

what would you think about a passport which shows your current nationality/ies & ethnicity/ies (via male/female haplogroup, aso)?
And religion could be added for statistics.

Anybody who commits crimes gets his ethnicity as nationality and has to go back to his origin land/nation.

Population statistics would be quite exposing in the long run (esp about the always sooo wrongly accused placid muslims - no wonder that certain ethnicities are drawn to this religion: you always adapt what suits to you).

Fair approach: everybody responsible for his own behaviour...

My gut feeling is that he selling "technological" information to the Iranians through the Frenchman (dead cyclist 7 bullets), and he got wacked
 Quoting: Aristide Torchia

It is significant, IMO, that the shootings occurred in France, not far from a factory where zirconium, tantalum, and hafnium are processed into an alloy. Zircaloy is used as cladding on nuclear fuel rods. The ability to make fuel rods seems to have been holding Iran's nuclear capabilities back.

It could be a matter of selling secrets, as well as someone selling product.

The location must play a factor in this story. Is is mere coicidence that the French bicyclist worked for Areva subisidiary Cezus Ugine?

A few pages back, someone brought up the issue of the al-Hilli family living in an expensive house. The media has explained that al-Hilli and his brother lived there with their parents. Upon the father's death, Saad is said to have inherited the house from the estate.

[link to www.cbc.ca]

So, was the family living off an inheritance? Saad's company is said to have assets of about $13,000. Are records of inheritances/probate public in the UK? Is the search of the family home meant to uncover bank statements for out-of-country accounts, including money transfers? Geneva is close to the scene of the shootings.

I have just read that the elderly woman was the girls grandmother! [link to www.mirror.co.uk]
There still appears to be some confusion over the passport though and they still state that the 4 year old claims not to have known the woman.
I have also wondered why the 7 year old wasn't in school. English schools went back at least a week before the shootings. The family had already been in France 3 weeks touring. How long did they plan to stay? As you know, you need permission to take children out of school in England during term-time. Was this permission asked for? I think this would show whether it was an extended holiday or if they were fleeing/hiding.
oh and it's dudette! lol
The worst sin toward our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them: that's the essence of inhumanity.

Fully armed police officer with full hazards protective gear were seen entering the house this morning, then an alert has been issued, the neighborhood is being evacuated and cordoned off...I tell you, this man was working on a dirty bomb...what else could it be...see this other scientist who worked in the very same lab as Saad al Hilli: his name is Adline Hisheur, check it out
Torchia was born in 1620.
