Re: 'British' family shot in France were Iraqi,..
My boss just came back from France.

Apparently, word on the ground is that there may have been a dispute over some inheritance involving the father.

That would explain why the older girl was attacked and the younger one was hidden by her mother.

They had to get rid of any one who might have a claim on the estate.

Also it might explain why it was so messy. A family would probably not hire a professional hitman but rather a thug with a gun.

doublet-tap is a term that's used in such assassination jobs, right?

two to chest, one to head?

educate me, people.
 Quoting: Free Planet 18236988

Double tap means two very quick shots. SAS are trained to aim for the torso as head shots are far harder to pull off. Putting a barrel to a forehead is a different matter,

Nope, news coming through that the DOUBLE TAP happened to each member of the family, two shots to the centre of the head.

Looking like a professional hit more and more, based on calibre of automatic gun used.

:(
 Quoting: Free Planet 18236988

First reports say automatic fire

Then 15 scattered shots

Then three single shots to the forehead

Then one woman was not shot at all

Then now we have TWO shot to each forehead

What a load of old bollocks fed to us by the spooks

UPDATE:

Today they're saying that they've received "credible information from British intelligence" that the brother had a family feud over what the dead man inherited. They're implying that the brother paid a hitman.

Now call me silly, but if the brother wanted to take over his inheritance, surely the hitman would have been given full details of the family and instructions to take them all out. But the girls were left alive, and they'll inherit their father's money. Whatever, it seems clear that this is what they're going along with.

It also emerged yesterday that Mr al-Hilli had recently become involved in a bitter legal dispute over an inheritance worth more than €1.2million.

Family friend Zaid Alabdi said: “He told me he had employed lawyers and was involved in a dispute over a lot of money.”

Iraqi-born Mr Alabdi said the al-Hilli family regularly took summer holidays at the same French campsite.

[link to www.mirror.co.uk]

It appears he'd been living in fear of his life for quite a few months according to his neighbour.
And as an attempt was made to take the whole family out, it's more than likely an inheritance issue. Which is what his fear was related to.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9977516

Why just pistol whip the girl then? She was shot in the shoulder. Did they run out of bullets? They could easily have broken the girl's neck or slit her throat. And of course they also missed the OTHER girl, who would survive to collect her inheritance.

Remember, there is a UK govt D notice out forbidding any UK editor from revealing all the sensitive nuclear etc information on this thread.

The brother is now being set up as a patsy, whilst Mossad or whomever get away with another hit, and no diplomatic incident results.

Wake up and don't fall for this bullshit.

General Yossi Ben Hanan (chief of defence at Paris Israeli embassy) has been flown from Paris to Chambery Airport according to Press TV. Chambrey is only a short drive from the site of the killing. He was 20 minutes on the tarmac before he left with three extra passengers. The helicopter flew on to Geneva

We all got all wrong, the key to the mystery is the French cyclist, Sylvain Mollier, (5 bullets) he worked for Cyzus, partners with Areva (Nuclear Fuel)
Torchia was born in 1620. He was apprenticed in Leyden under the Elzevir family. After returning to Venice he published small works on philosophical and esoteric themes. In 1666, Torchia published De Umbrarum Regni Novem Portis (The Nine Doors to the Kingdom of Shadows), which was in turn based on the Delomelanicon, or Invocation of Darkness, a work supposedly written by Lucifer and that would allow the reader to summon devils. The Inquisition condemned Torchia for magic and witchcraft and burned him at the stake in 1667.

"We all got all wrong, the key to the mystery is the French cyclist, Sylvain Mollier, (5 bullets) he worked for Cyzus, partners with Areva (Nuclear Fuel)"

Now if that is true, it really get Machiavellian. It would mean such pre-planning would be needed as to boggle the mind. To know Sylvain would be cycling up that hill that day, and to have the Beemer stop in that small lay-by/car park for a pre-arranged rendezvous, and all of them whacked at the same time as Sylvain reached the car?

I agree that 5 bullets though seems somewhat excessive. Did Sylvain also have two to the forehead???

???

If you look at the pictures of the car, look at the grouping of the bullets in the glass of the passengers window and rear window. Very tight together, someone who is used to firing weapons no doubt about it.

the french authority are not saying anything new, the third swedish woman is the key to this mystery. The little girl has said she has seen the swedish woman before but did not know her very well. Too many questions, if the older girl survives we might get more answers.
