Cezus Ugine factory to Chevaline is a 24-minute car ride:

[link to maps.google.ca]

The dead bicyclist who worked for Cezus has been identified as Sylvain Mollier, a 40-year-old father of three on paternity leave from his job at an AREVA-owned factory.

So, we have the victim(s)

Worked for an Areal Drones and satellites company AMS 1087, in a defense contractor area of wiltshire

2 bikers, one dead, worked for Areva (nuclear Fuel), the other, British alive and well, who found the scene, member of the Royal Air Force
Torchia was born in 1620. He was apprenticed in Leyden under the Elzevir family. After returning to Venice he published small works on philosophical and esoteric themes. In 1666, Torchia published De Umbrarum Regni Novem Portis (The Nine Doors to the Kingdom of Shadows), which was in turn based on the Delomelanicon, or Invocation of Darkness, a work supposedly written by Lucifer and that would allow the reader to summon devils. The Inquisition condemned Torchia for magic and witchcraft and burned him at the stake in 1667.

More in Saad al-Hilli's skill set: he allegedly worked as a freelance designer for a company that made satellites.

[link to www.dailymail.co.uk]

He met his wife in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, according to an acquaintance.

Said acquaintance doesn't seem clear on his information about the al-Hillis. So why talk?

Specifically, one aspect of Cezus's work is zirconium alloy or zircaloy. Spelling is correct. For more information:

The plot thickens as Saad's other employer is EADS, the French Defense group, also linked to Areva, as the dead biker!!!!!!!!

Newer alloys seem to be coming into favor. Chalk River CRUD mentioned in article above. Brings to mind the work of another deceased scientist:

PA has more background details about Hilli.

A family friend named James said they moved to the UK in the 1970s after their mechanical engineering business was looked upon "unfavourably" by Saddam Hussein's Ba'ath party.

He worked as a freelance computer-aided design engineer and helped with designs for the Airbus A380 aeroplane, the friend added.

Hilli's accountant Julian Stedman said he ran a company, Shtech Ltd, registered to his home address.

Online records show Hilli was also a director of a Swindon-based company offering "business services, aerial photographers and surveys services".

He was also believed to have links with Guildford-based Surrey Satellite Technology. The company directed inquiries to the Foreign Office this afternoon.

British ex-airforce guy on his mountain bike is overtaken on a road by a local Frenchman on his mountain bike.

Later on, British ex-airforce guy arrives at a car that's shot to shit. Sees the local cyclist who'd passed him earlier.

In the shot to shit car, man, woman and older woman (we're not sure they're the same family, we're not sure of their IDs) are all shot THROUGH THE CENTRE OF THEIR HEADS.

Nobody finds the girl (hidden under one of the female adults skirts) for EIGHT HOURS.

You really can't write this shit any worse than this shit.

If Saad al-Hilli was 50 years old and his family moved to Britain in 1970, can we assume that it was his father who reportedly fell out of favor with Sadaam Hussein, causing him to leave Iraq? Allegedly?

The company Saad al-Hilli worked for is said to be affiliated with a Surrey university.

I don't get why the RAF spooky type needed to break a window. And with what? I have a window breaker on my Delta ti knife, but who carries a glass breaker? Early reports say 15 bullets were fired from an automatic, an Uzi??? This does not sound like 3 shots to 3 foreheads.

Exactly, as with the 15 magic bullets theory, on french news, they just said "All the dead have at least one bullet in the middle of the forehead", with several more bullets in them, this is military commando style, I tell you

I assume you mean the comment made at the end of the story. They've got that covered. The British bicyclist broke "the window". Odd that he would break "the" window, when the front window was already shot out, and bullet holes were in the drive side window. Odd indeed that 15 casings were found, after all that shooting, and how the victims had one bullet shot to the middle of the forehead each. You'd think all that shooting would have caused some random injuries.

Why did someone back the vehicle up into the embankment?

Why were British and French bicyclists racing to the scene of...nothing?

Are those tire marks in the soil? From what? They don't quite match up with where the vehicle ended up parked. The visible tire tracks appear to be from a much heavier vehicle with wider tires, like a truck. It looks like the burgundy van was simply backed straight into the embankment, in a hurry. Maybe it was moved there from somewhere else.

Canada, remember that scene with the killer cyclist in Spielberg's "Munich", here, we got two...

There is one killing in the movie which appears to have invaded from a completely different and much sicker movie. A beautiful female operative sets a "honey trap" for Avner, which he evades, but she nets an older member of the team, who is murdered in her hotel room. (We are not informed whether she killed the man herself or simply lured him to his death.) The team tracks her down to a houseboat in Holland, where they find her reading a book in her nightgown. Her first reaction when a stranger appears on her boat is not fear or anger, but a look of pure sexual hunger. A moment later, when she realizes that it is the Israeli team here to kill her, she begins calmly bargaining for her life: You already know how good I am, you should hire me. She exposes her beautiful breasts and asks: Why waste all this talent? (We see her ineffectively groping for a gun in a drawer while she talks, but she never finds it.) The team shoot her twice in the chest, with strange one-shot guns they have assembled from bicycle pumps (Spielberg loves his gadgets). She walks calmly across the room, her nightgown still hanging open, pets her cat, sits down in a chair and starts to die. A third member of the team then uses his own bicycle-pump-gun to shoot her in the head. Avner tries to close her nightgown, and another member of the team angrily makes him leave it open.
