Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22481746 Too much collateral damage. It's personal or money related. removing witnesses isn't really collateral damage. but sure, if they just wanted the guy they could've waited for a better opportunity. more like a message - do whatever he did and your whole family goes. I'd put money on it being something more mundane than spys. Why then the D-notice on all information relating to this article: Saad Al Hilli's work with the Iraqi nuclear program was under duress as a result of Saddam's Husseins threats against his family, there is no evidence he did it willingly. Once he fled to the UK he had a right to expect protection from Israel and yet his trip was without any from UK or French police despite his repeated requests for some. He knew he had been targeted for assassination by Israel to prevent his knowledge reaching Iran and yet there was no evidence that he had continued his work or that he was working with Iran, his trip to Tehran was for religious reasons to visit the city of Qom. Torchia was born in 1620. He was apprenticed in Leyden under the Elzevir family. After returning to Venice he published small works on philosophical and esoteric themes. In 1666, Torchia published De Umbrarum Regni Novem Portis (The Nine Doors to the Kingdom of Shadows), which was in turn based on the Delomelanicon, or Invocation of Darkness, a work supposedly written by Lucifer and that would allow the reader to summon devils. The Inquisition condemned Torchia for magic and witchcraft and burned him at the stake in 1667. |

Conrach User ID: 18402618 United Kingdom 09/08/2012 05:15 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just now on French's Itele Quoting: Aristide Torchia "Father recently visited Iraq" Another question: who is the older Swedish woman that was killed, I mean, they found her passport, didn't they, so why no word? Ok this is strange, they are saying the older woman was Iqbal al-hilli's mother. but i'm sure the french prosecutor said yesterday that the 4 year old did not know who the older woman was and had only met her a few times. Did anyone else see the press confrence? was I mistaken? I'm pretty sure thats what he said. Thats correct. He emphasised this point, that the little girl said she had been on holidays with her parents and she didn't know who the older woman was. I also found it strange that the Prosecuter d'Annecy again emphasised the point that they haven't established the relationship of the older lady to the family nor have they managed to identify her identity despite having a Swedish passport.(false passport) Another British family (at the campsite) reported the Al-Hilli's missing. Were they travelling with them? Did they know the know the older lady? Was the older lady staying in the campsite with them? Didn't appear so, if the 4 year old was unaware of who she is. I wonder if she is the key to all this and the 2 cyclists were just 2 unfortunates--one witness and one who happened upon them. Also it is a well known fact that Rogatory interviews/inquiries take weeks to arrange....this one took 24 hours!! There was no messing about on either the French/British side.
