T Ceti, you ever see a Stargate? I have.. One of the cigar shaped cargo ships caught on fire. They had a Military escort and had to get it to safety. A rip opened up. Golden light portal. and the ship had to fly thru it for repair on the other side. Our Government was experimenting with it in the 50s, guess they got somewhere with the technology.
