Saw something interesting here in BC today... something burning and falling from the sky really fast...1/2 hour later, I find out there is now a forest fire in the same area.

Saw a big one last night about 10:30. It wasn't up like all the others, this sucker went from right to left looking south (so I guess it went east to west) it was BELOW airplanes and gave me time to see it out the corner of my eye, turn my head, and follow it west across about 40 degrees above the horizon. It had a large last flame before it burnt out about south or so to me. About 5-10 seconds later I HEARD something. I can't describe it, wasn't a boom, gunshot sound, kind of like that but it took 10 seconds to get to me. I guess it was either when the thing had it's last big flame before it burnt out of it was the sound of it hitting the ground. I'm in north Georgia.

This was like nothing I had ever seen before and I've seen lots of these meteors in the last 2 months. It was so close and so low compared to the others. I saw it, turned my head, said "oh shit", watched it burn out, then said "something is coming Lord, isnt it?" I wish I hadn't been by myself because I'm sure I sounded crazy and my husband looked at me like I was lying when I told him later lol.

Its weird most of these fireballs that have been reported are or seem to be mainly reported from the southern states.. im from SW corner of Arkansas, the ark-la-tex area and i have witnessed many here in the past few months myself.. some of the biggest and brightest and long lived with long tails.... im glad to see more people taking notice of this..

Over the past 6 months the skys have become very active at night...and more so during the day also!

yeah ive been noticing the recent daytime videos... any guess to what this increase of sightings means.. increase of meteors or just more people taking notice
