Goto Red Rocks, it's free, lots of hiking around there. And if you get a chance to hit up a concert there, it's unlike anything you've ever heard.

Boulder downtown, Aspen is interesting but you spend a lot of time getting there. Just driving around in the mountains is a good plan.

Drive up to Nederland and spend part of a day with some old hippies. Actually, it's a cool place. Like stepping back in time.

Steamboat Springs is great, but it's a long drive, lots of mountains and tree's along the way though. But it's a small town really, I wouldn't pick it as a vacation spot personally. If you want to go into the Rocky's checkout Vail or Loveland or Aspen, even if you aren't skiing there is a thousand things to see and do.

There is a place that smells like rotten eggs and has some natural springs you can swim in. That's fun. Probably what you're calling Sulfur Springs (I didn't know the name of it, just the smell of it.) But you'll be sick of that place in 2 hours.

Actually eggs contain sulfur. Hence, the smell. Aspen sounds appealing!

Not right in Breckenridge, but we have tons of great recreation here. Some other hot springs that are all w/in a 1 hr drive from Summit County/Breck are; Idaho Springs, Steamboat Springs, Glenwood Springs, and then about in the 2 hr away great hot springs are-Mt Princeton Hot Springs in Buena Vista just south of Breckenridge, then Pagosa Springs down by Durango.

Buena Vista is beautiful. I found Red Feather Lakes area very beautiful as well. The Springs has a great deal to do, but watch the altitude.
