Obama DNC speech...let the comments begin!

There were a lot of Liberals who were quite pissed at the change
in the Dem platform about God and Israel, and how it was rammed
through without a two-third majority approving it.

The Unions were pissed that the DNC Convention was held in the
state which is least-friendly to Unions.

Others Dems were pissed that the DNC went to a smaller venue,
and left out many of the hardest-working campaign volunteers
who really and truly wanted to see the president speak, regardless
of how empty the words were read off the teleprompter.


The Democrats are trying to put on a happy face.

But they know the speech sucked and Obama is toast in November.

For the average joe or for the rich. Take your pick.

If you are part of the 1% go for Romney, that's what he represents. If you are part of the rest you will benefit more from BO.

I agree that Obama is a closet communist (nobody who actually read Dreams From My Father could conclude differently), but Romney is a closet fascist, and there is little denying that either...

Our choices are between the Fascist status quo and Creeping Communism...

No offense, because I'm basically ABO (Anyone But Obama), but you would think we could get better choices in this country, but then you look at the way we treat our Presidential Candidates and you think...nope, we'll never do better, because anyone with half a brain would never want this fucking job!!!

Yes! Sincerity. Also fair play (note Romney's campaign is going out of their way to say something nice about Obama and the DNC convention). Plus it doesn't hurt to have a businessman's background in times of economic trouble. If it were war time that might be different -- and God knows Obama might be planning a false flag to start one, any day now -- but absent that Romney's "bean counter" personality is way more appealing and comforting right now than the rabble-rouser messiah.

Especially for all those preppers out there expecting a race war to erupt any moment. I tell ya,I'm dubious that this convention is going to give a bounce.

CNN's Panel of North Carolina Independent voters didn't like the speech, AT ALL...

I've often commented to people that the candidates are no where near the cream of the crop of Americans.

Only a fool would go into politics down there and your candidates reflect that in a blatant display of the worst of the worst to run the worlds most powerful country.

I am surprising calm, almost removed, and I don’t know why.

Do I think his defeat is certain? NO...

But then I still have between Now and November to hold my breath, fight, and pray for America's future.

OTOH, maybe it is my acceptance of the surreal -— the profound silence that descends when one accepts the fact that half the country has literally lost its mind, and thus, its ability to reason.

If he loses, my fear is what he'll do in the 2+ intervening months.

The country will benefit from getting Obummer out of office before he sells us out to the Russians. He was already caught on an open mike saying he'll have more "flexibility after the election". He's a commie and a traitor.

Obama is nothing without his army of volunteers.

And yeah, they know -- deep down where they'll never admit
publicly -- that Obama's words are lies and he's nothing more than
one more lying politician willing to exploit their misplaced enthusiasm.

Some volunteers will fall for it, but not like in 2008 and not enough
to overcome the independents who will not support Obama this
time around.

Obama supporters are wasting their time by working in his
campaign. Let them. It'll be a good lesson to their naivety
when they realize the futility of supporting the King of Fools.

I watched both Romney's and Obama's speeches.

Both were empty rhetoric.

Yes I have and grocery prices have gone up by almost 50% since he took office, not to mention the price of gas. I live alone and do all the shopping so I'm acutely aware how much prices have increased.

And if he gets another term things will only get worse. Romney is just another politician but he has a background in business and is what we need to get things straightened out.

There is NO good outcome from this election!!!!!!

If Romney wins, Obama supporters will say the election was rigged and will take to the streets.

If Barry wins, the patriots will call for revolution and take to the streets.
