Combine the doom.

Dump the Fukushima waste and fuel rods into the crater.

That will either get rid of them or just bring the end that much more quickly.

Either way its a win for me.

The last time Fuji blew it covered Tokyo with a small layer of ash. The pressure of every volcano is increasing, not just Fuji. The mountain is monitored every day and there are no signs of it entering a critical stage. I too can see it from my patio. Looks like a lot of snow up there. Thanks for the warning but I think evacuation is a bit early.

GLP is funny, this fuji story is main stream media so it must be true and we must fear it.
but if main stream media says Fukushima isnt that bad then we make a sing dance about how they lie.

its the cherry picking of information and running mad with it thats hilarious.
youve got to take all these stories with a pinch of salt but keep a heads up too.

Mt fuji is a natural source for spring water, and is bottled and sold. They would notice weird activity very soon.

There are numerous caves leading into Fuji that attract thousands of visitors every year, they too are keeping a close eye on things.

evacuation drills are predicted for 2014, so even the experts are thinking nothing bad in the very near future will happen.

Here is what upsets me about volcanos: Those people in Pompei must have thought they would have time to evacuate. I feel ill looking at Pompei pictures.

prophecy about the beginning of a massive outbreak of the ring of fire, from mr. chet snow a famous trance medium

- The famous American psychic Chet B. Snow, with whom Dr. Helen Wambach conducted hypnosis sessions progression (predicting the future in a trance state), in his book "The Future. Their lives since 2000, "citing numerous facts of the impending catastrophe associated with increased seismic activity bowels of the earth.
What is a volcano? Where did it all begin?
- Fuji.
- Where? Tell me again the name of the volcano. Her voice is loud and clear, if you fit the whole scene entirely in their heads, just like in a dream ...
- It is a Fuji, I think. In any case, the volcano in Japan. His outburst is a chain reaction of powerful earthquakes and volcanic eruptions follow in the Pacific region, causing up to Alaska. The newspapers called this the "ring of fire outbreak."

Forget Fuji, Krakatau is currently at alert status 3 out of maximum possible 4.

Krakatau (West of Java) is one mighty volcano. They get alerts but most times it means no eruptions. Just a warning Lot of them alerts happened in the recent past and mighty volcano did not blow up.

Fuji San is a sacred mountain highly symbolic for the people of Japan and very beautiful to look at especially from an airplane.

It will be a real disaster if there's an eruption.

Japan does not need this but nature is taking control. Humans can do zilch.

I love volcanos. They are so awesome!

the real question here is, once there is pressure, can that pressure decrease, or will it only increase?

Cause if it will only increase further, then this is doom.

Wasn't there a prophecy involving Mt. Fuji? Saying that when it blows, big shit would start to happen.

Or it could have been subsequent events. Santorini and Mt. Fuji.

It's quite vague.
 Quoting: OneFootUnder

Can you tell me which prophecy said that please my friend? I'm really interested coz some crazy religious people here, say they had visions that Santorini volcano will explode soon causing a a 9,5 eq and SwHTF globally, but i haven't found something on Greek prophecies about it yet.

Scientists say there is some movement for sure the last 6 months in Santorini.

I trust facts and those who have studied and worked in sismolgy and vocanology for long, not prophecies.

Here's an article:

[link to now.msn.com]

[link to www.wired.co.uk]

Again these are media articles not written by specialists in the field coming from a scientific website.

Does not mean the volcano is going to erupt. There have been no signs of this yet.

There are a few erupting volcanos in Japan, one island volcano South of Tokyo which I saw erupting from a flight as I was going into Narita. Impressive.

Re: Mt. Fuji ready to blow!
What exactly is a "supervolcano" or a "supereruption?" Both terms are fairly new and favored by the media more than scientists, but geologists have begun to use them in recent years to refer to explosive volcanic eruptions that eject about ten thousand times the quantity of magma and ash that Mount St. Helens, one of the most explosive eruptions in recent years, expelled.

more here:
[link to www.nasa.gov]

Anak Krakatau is one such "supervolcano".

Latest Krakatau eruptions happened on 2 September (2012) with strombolian type eruptions up to 300 m above the crater.

Nothing to compare with the eruption of 1883 up to a height of 80 kms followed by a tsunami with 30 meters waves killing some 35000 people along the coasts.

There are no signs of such paroxysmal eruption of volcano Anak Krakatau happening in times to come.

Re: Mt. Fuji ready to blow!
Facts about Mt Fuji with satellite picture of the volcano
From NASA Earth Observatory

The 3,776-meter-high (12,388 feet) Mount Fuji Volcano, located on the island of Honshu in Japan, is one of the world’s classic examples of a stratovolcano. The volcano’s steep, conical profile is the result of numerous layers of lava and debris from explosive eruptions, including ash, cinders, and volcanic bombs, that build up over time. The steep profile is possible because of the relatively high viscosity (stickiness) of the lava typically associated with stratovolcanoes. The high viscosity leads to thick sequences of lava flows near the eruptive vent that build the cone structure. (Low-viscosity flows spread out over the landscape and build lower-profile shield volcanoes.)

Mount Fuji, or Fuji-san in Japanese, is actually comprised of several overlapping volcanoes that began erupting in the Pleistocene Epoch (1.8 million to approximately 10,000 years ago). The currently active volcano, known as Younger Fuji, began forming approximately 11,000 to 8,000 years ago. The most recent explosive activity occurred in 1707, creating Hoei Crater on the southeastern flank of the volcano (image center). This eruption deposited ash on Edo (present-day Tokyo), 95 kilometers (59 miles) to the northeast. No further eruptions have occurred at Mount Fuji, but steam was observed at the summit from 1780–1820, and the volcano is considered active.

This oblique (viewed at an angle, rather than straight down) astronaut photograph illustrates the snow-covered southeastern flank of the volcano. The northeastern flank is visible in this image. The Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission provided an image of the topography of Mt. Fuji and its surroundings.

Astronaut photograph ISS019-E-5286 was acquired on April 8, 2009, with a Nikon D3 digital camera fitted with an 800 mm lens, and is provided by the ISS Crew Earth Observations experiment and Image Science & Analysis Laboratory, Johnson Space Center. The image was taken by the Expedition 19 crew. The image in this article has been cropped and enhanced to improve contrast. Lens artifacts have been removed. The International Space Station Program supports the laboratory to help astronauts take pictures of Earth that will be of the greatest value to scientists and the public, and to make those images freely available on the Internet. Additional images taken by astronauts and cosmonauts can be viewed at the NASA/JSC Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth. Caption by William L. Stefanov,NASA-JSC.

When Mt. Fuji erupts, Japan will sink. This will be the start of the pole shift. How long it lasts is not known (days to a few months). The earth will begin to shift when Mt. Fuji erupts.
