Re: Mt. Fuji ready to blow!
Since the March 2011 tsunami and the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that followed four days later, Japan has been on tenterhooks, and in May 2012 a professor from Ryukyu University warned that a massive eruption within three years would be likely because of several major factors: steam and gases are being emitted from the crater, water eruptions are occurring nearby, massive holes emitting hot natural gases are appearing in the vicinity and finally, the warning sign that pushed the professor to make the announcement, a 34km-long fault was found underneath the volcano.

Unfortunately nearly everyone is oblivious to how violent our planet is.
If you live on Earth you are always under threat from natural disaster.

But it is sad that Japan could have 2 major disasters in a century.

Stay safe Japan hf

Read the article, the pressure is a LOT higher already than the last time it blew!

There were those who refused to listen to warnings about
Mt. St. Helens also.

ive been to fuji twice this summer, once up to the top, there was no sign of lava, it was solid rock.It takes a long time for magma and lava to heat up.
when, and if, it gets to that stage, im sure we will get plenty of notice.

Wasn't there a prophecy involving Mt. Fuji? Saying that when it blows, big shit would start to happen.

Or it could have been subsequent events. Santorini and Mt. Fuji.

It's quite vague.

I know that, but I meant that when both of these blow, events would start to happen unrelated to the volcanoes.

But like I said, it's very vague. Could be wrong.

you don't understand anything right??
i said run when you see lava flowing out not NOW!

and if you would read the article then you would know that the tremors goes on since 2001, in volcanology imminent don't mean in the next few hours, it could be years!

nobody predicted here and not in the article that it will blow in a few hours/days but there are many signs that it's active and will blow, in days, years, we don't know, but it will blow HARD!

GLP is funny, this fuji story is main stream media so it must be true and we must fear it.
but if main stream media says Fukushima isnt that bad then we make a sing dance about how they lie.

its the cherry picking of information and running mad with it thats hilarious.
youve got to take all these stories with a pinch of salt but keep a heads up too.

Mt fuji is a natural source for spring water, and is bottled and sold. They would notice weird activity very soon.

There are numerous caves leading into Fuji that attract thousands of visitors every year, they too are keeping a close eye on things.

evacuation drills are predicted for 2014, so even the experts are thinking nothing bad in the very near future will happen.
