Under a libertarian system, the people responsible for this would be punished by fair trial in a court of common law.

Under the system we have nobody will be punished.. Perhaps the corporation responsible for this will be fined a small amount of its profits but there is no deterrent to stop doing it again as long as the profit outweighs the cost of a fine!

The deterrent under a libertarian system is the fact that individuals are responsible for their own crimes.. Hence people are much more careful and regulate themselves..
