I'm waiting for it to go close to $20 again before i buy.

I bought at 18 and sold exactly half at 36.

I missed the top but who cares.

Next time $20 comes around I'll do the same, and wait for $40 to sell half again.

I have a friend that will buy $1.2 million dollars of silver if it hits $25.00

He has that money sitting basically liquid in another investment and $25 silver will be the trigger. In addition, it will be a PHYSICAL purchase.

Interesting times. $20 is a pipe dream, will not happen again in our lifetimes.

Thing is, it can and does go DOWN just as spectacularly as it goes up.

Volatility in silver works both ways.

I made my first purchase at $9 an oz. Still have it....

the markups I'm seeing over spot are from $3-3.50 for a SAE. If it goes down to $20, I'll bet they pull it off the shelf and wait for it to go back up. It won't go back to $20.....

Personally, I don't think silver will go below $30 ever again. Those days are over. Wish I had had the money to buy when it was at $26.00.

Oh yeah, you missed the top alright. Silver is actually worth a lot more than gold. There are a lot less of silver than gold, and unlike gold, silver is consumed in industry. Silver is actually worth more than $1735/oz right now. When it gets past $50/oz, it will explode because that's when JPM will no longer be able to short it at the behest of the Fed.

And you helped make my point as to WHY i think it could easily go down again.

You did not buy it because becuase you did not have the money when it was $26.

The very circumstances that people think will make SIlver 'go to the moon' are the exact same circumstances that make people poorer.

Poorer people have less monewy to buy thinkgs like Silver.

When people are poorer they spend less - meaning the kind of people and organisations who hold thinkgs like Silver have to sell to keep up with loan payments.

People not buying and people selling to keep up with debt obligations means SILVER GOES DOWN..along with all the other <cough> 'investment' metals.

many analysts are saying that silver is a bargain at $30-32. Many will miss the boat and pay $40 as this thing blasts off. Trust me you won't be able to buy silver at $20. That means spot is around $16. It's all being bot up....

In a shtf scenario all of them!

After you have shot a couple thousand people dead, you'll probably want to shoot yourself next. That's why I am not buying any more than 2,000 rounds myself.

Platinum just crossed $1600! Historically it's been higher then gold. I'm gonna pick up some today (I have a sh1tload of silver I was buying in the 27-28 range).


Platinum is BY FAR more rare then the other precious metals. The amount of platinum that has EVER been mined is about the same as the amount of gold that is mined EVERY year!
