Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23240077 But all the effort these clowns put into arguing, and campaigning leads me to believe some of it is real. It's real but it's also rigged. Local election voting = real America. Votes matter, it's democratic. National elections = Actual America. Votes don't matter, the electoral college does and it is a quasi-republic. Our whole country has gotten apathetic to whomever the candidates are - and with good reason. Quoting: DaddysGirl I have read on here that our votes don't really even count. As I remember reading, TPTB are in control and they put into office whomever they please and our votes are never counted at all. Is there truth to this statement and how can it be proved in fact to be TRUTH?? I think everyone on this site from the US needs to know the truth before elections get here in November. Please - no sarcasm or negative replies. We need the truth to be known if it's possible somehow.... Thank you! A prefect example of what really goes on is the BS voting at both the Conventions...the AYES have it, lol....what complete BULLSHIT. I give up....just waiting for the shooting to start. The intent of your right will never be diminished. As one poster has already stated, local votes are less tarnished. We clearly need to restructure the voting process and it is also evident that on the National level there is a great deal of fraud, like the 30,000 registered SC voters that happen to be deceased. We all remember the hanging chads in FL. We have the technical ability to allow each of us to vote in a visible manner that can be fully audited. Changes only happen when the masses make it so. |

So no matter who wins, the elite get what they want. They make sure they get the candidates they want by controlling Radio, Tv, Magazines and News Papers and most of the top searches on the Internet. Plus by their campaign contributions they are able to weed out rogue candidates. Now if they really want someone in over another, well then votes from the presidential race get counted in another country like France LOL which is what is happening this year. Let me put this way...if you had enough money to house, cloth and feed every person in the World....would you allow commoners to decide who runs things?? Come on....get real! If you're a GLP reader there is nothing new. Obama came out of no where, is controlling the US and more for the Cabal and there is not much to do at this point but to hope and wish for something different. Something large is going to happen and the election may be a mute point! That is my leaning. I will say this, if nothing happens before Jan 1 then I'm sure we all just dreamt it up. LOL |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 12432310 United States 09/08/2012 03:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In my estimation, local votes DO count. For example, the new mayor in my town won by FIVE votes. The votes were counted twice and it appears, that indeed, FIVE votes brought in a new mayor. However, my state had two highly suspect governor elections - whereas a Democrat got in both times - but where it became VERY obvious the Dems had stolen both elections, in spite of numerous recounts. At the PRESIDENTIAL level, along with Republican-owned voting machines (Diebold - BTW interesting term - DIE BOLD), it is become apparent that presidents are SELECTED years, in not decades, in advance and that voting machines can EASILY be manipulated. This has been proven technologically. When George Green was told by Paul Volcker (Chairman of the Federal Reserve under Carter and Reagan) that 'they' control who is put into the presidency, that sealed any of my misconceptions that 'the people' vote in the president. Electoral College notwithstanding. Just sayin'....the US hasn't probably had a honest election since George Washington and I would even question that one. Still, for the hell of it, I continue to vote. |
