Ah OP, I fully relate, except I know where she is. I met a fantastic woman today at work. I don't usually work with women, but the one time I do, she is intelligent, pretty, and it just felt like she was a perfect match for me.

But she was married.

....sigh.... I am not exaggerating in any sense. In a day's time we had jokes already that could only be understood by she and I.

But she is lost to me.

I hope I'll find him...

For me it is like seeing the life that could have been. A diamond that has no sparkle. A story told with no end.

For sanity's sake I have to say that it was eery. Every word coming from my mouth familiar to her. Everything she said familiar to me. She defended me and I her.

For these things, what are the odds? In my experience, they are not good. And today, I was presented a winning lottery ticket, that was claimed by someone else.

She even said "I'm not going to be a sheeple." But this was just a hint of what really we found between us. I will not betray marriage, though.

I mourn this evening for what could have been.
