I don't believe in interpretations but I believe in symbols regarding dreams.
Lion might be the symbol of your own strength, creativity and ability to change things.
But you're afraid of them, you want to hold on to what's familiar to you.
The fact that lion is not scary makes it look like it is in fact yourself that you're running from.
But deep down, you know the power is there. And it's huge. You're just not ready to face it yet.

I agree that we tend to be lazy, in fact I confess it to be true on my part, but I am working on that! It's also interesting you make the point of getting out of one's comfort zone. We've been working on that for a couple of years now - basically forsaking materializm and moving towards serving others for His Glory!
