It's normal.
Quoting: ++MarketSellOff++ It is. The radars are in whats called "Clean Air" mode/operation. What happens is the radar beam is slowed down to increase sensitivity in picking up things in the air. The areas you are seeing (primarily in the Midwest) had a lot of rain and storms earlier. There can be fog/mist still in the air, or pollen and things of the sort.
