I live with my parents. I am grateful that they have given me a place to stay until I get the criminal government and corporate hoods off of my back.
 Quoting: Mr. D 4603964

Are you over your mid 20s like me?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23388029

42. I was living oversea when TPTB started attacking me. Through their attacks they caused me to loose 2 houses, my family, job, cars, pension (retirement) everything. They were angry because I wouldn't join their organization.
 Quoting: Mr. D 4603964

Why would they ask you to join? Do you have something they want? Like a gift of some sort? They don't just ask anyone...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23388029

That's just it, they didn't ask. It was more like join or else. I really didn't know what they meant at the time so it became the or else part. I don't join gangs or criminal organizations anyway.

pure and simple

he's never going to move out of mummies and daddies house until they throw him out

even then- he'll only go onto welfare and complain about how hard it is when the state pays all his bills

fucking loser loses- always will

I don't hoard cats. These cats cone from all over the neighborhood to eat at my parents house. They also eat at different times and its usually one at a time. Hoarding would mean that I have 15 cats in my parents house all at once. Ill move out when I have 300k in cash.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23388029

PMSL

`mummy I promise I'll move out when I have $300000'

can I borrow 20 bucks to have a cats balls cut off...

you have 20 grand in savings- you are bitching about how mean your parents are that they wont let you do what you want- in their house... and you are probably halfway through your life (you are close to 30's and most modern basement dwellers have heart attacks before their 50's- so you are probably closer to death than living...)

and you dont want to move out before you get another 100 years (at least) of `savings'...)

pathetic is the most `pleasant' term I can use to describe you...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23386596

I haven't asked my parents for cash since I was 19.

why not join a self sufficient community off the grid?

These are good suggestions.

Also, since you discovered your connection with cats you should volunteer at the organization or a pet shelter or vet office. You could make a career of what you enjoy. Embrace it and be yourself regardless of your mom.

I'm 28 yrs old and I still live at home with my parents. Ive never been on my own. I've been unemployed for 2 years now and I just think its funny and sad how my parents wont let me spend a dime of my own money to get 15 feral cats fixed so I had to be sneaky and do it under their radar lol I think about other ppl my age who live at home and some of the sneaky things they do is bring girls over to bang while their parents aren't home, but me.... when my parents are away I trap cats and take them to the vet to get them fixed. I have 3 more cats to go. Its been a stressful process trying to keep it under their radar but I know what would happen after another year goes by if I don't get these cats fixed... there will be more cats. I have 22 grand saved up and its sad how I can't even spend my money the way I want too and I have to sneak around to do this. Its worth it though. I decided to act on it after two kittens got ran over. Just wanted to share this with y'all.

OP you are a fucking piece of shit. If you were my son, which I am sooooo glad your not. You would have a time limit to find a job and then you would only get help if I saw you have used all your resources and I have seen you really try. This would have been when you were 18. Any person on here who agrees or sympathizes with him is a sick fuck, freeloading weak person as him. You fuckwads in this world that are fortunate to be able to live under their parents roof and still complain, that are able to move out. You are truley fucked up in the head. You won't talk to your mom when you move out, what a joke. I would disown you, you are truley a pathetic person. I feel sorry for your parents.

Yes that's true. I don't have any kids. I only owe 875 dollars on my student loan that I've been paying for on my own in the last five years. I could pay it off now but I would like to pay the minimum. I don't go out and I don't have a gf but I plan in going out more and having a gf after I'm successful and my project works out. That's going to be my reward. The student loan is the only debt I have. I can't imagine how my life would be if I had a child and wife at my current state, I would be more stressed out than I already am with these cats. I know someone who just got laid off yesterday and he has 3 children... I feel for him.

Animal testing refers to the use of animals in experiments. It is estimated that over 150 million vertebrate animals, including mice, rats, birds, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, farm animals, dogs, cats and non-human primates, are used annually worldwide. See also statistics compiled by country. [1] Animals are either killed during experiments or subsequently euthanized. The majority of laboratory animals are "purpose bred". A smaller number are wild caught or supplied by class B dealers, who obtain them from auctions, news paper ads and some animal shelters (pound seizure). [2] Animal testing is conducted by universities, government agencies, the military, corporations and contract research organizations (CRO)s, which contract test for industry.

Over two million dogs and cats are slaughtered each year for their furs and skins, mostly in China and other Asian countries. China produces 85% of the world's fur and has no animal welfare laws

so lets see- hes already over halfway through his effective working life- he's still living with his parents- and bitching about if he lives there, he has to obey their rules..., and he's got a `bigtime project' thats gunna payout!!!

by this time- I had lived on my own for over a decade, I owned a shit hot car (a foolish move- I could have been earning money almost a decade earlier if I hadnt been a `teenage hoon' and wasted all that money on a hot car tho) and had almost bought my first house (I bought it at 30)

so I could have been cutting cats nuts off left and right for over a decade-but then he IS still living at their house isnt he...

one of these days...

he may even move out!!

doubt it tho

Animal testing refers to the use of animals in experiments. It is estimated that over 150 million vertebrate animals, including mice, rats, birds, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, farm animals, dogs, cats and non-human primates, are used annually worldwide. See also statistics compiled by country. [1] Animals are either killed during experiments or subsequently euthanized. The majority of laboratory animals are "purpose bred". A smaller number are wild caught or supplied by class B dealers, who obtain them from auctions, news paper ads and some animal shelters (pound seizure). [2] Animal testing is conducted by universities, government agencies, the military, corporations and contract research organizations (CRO)s, which contract test for industry.

cats for experimentation

Over two million dogs and cats are slaughtered each year for their furs and skins, mostly in China and other Asian countries. China produces 85% of the world's fur and has no animal welfare laws

Re: 28 yrs and I still live at home with my parents... Unemployed for 2 yrs.
I agree

Why waste hard earned money on rent and have nothing to show for it and pay some fat gross slum lord money for some run down hole in the wall while he jacks the rent up every month.

You get alone with your parents and it sounds like a livable situation.

Get a real job and start saving more money

Make living there for a reason ; to save money for the future.

See how much you can save while you have the opportunity to live at home..

I see absolutely nothing wrong with it

In fact, in the Italian culture ; it is very much promoted.

Families are closer and I think this is a good thing.

In the early part of the 20 the century ; here in america many women lived at home til they were married.

It is also SAFER for you to be living at home with people who know and love you.

I lived on my own for many years before I got married and I can tell you

I had some strange things happen

Living at home is NOT something to be ashamed of ;

it is only our f****d up culture that says it is

Many other countries ; it is the norm

Many extended families live together in other cultures and take care of the very young and the very old.

They don't trow their parents into a nursing home to die; this is unheard of in many cultures.

Keep doing what you are doing OP if you are happy

this is important BUT

really save more money!!

You should apply for that tv show Animal Hoarders. And for fuck's sake move out of your parents house and get a life. Earn some independence, your depression will go away and your life will change for the better mate.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23395634

I don't hoard cats. These cats cone from all over the neighborhood to eat at my parents house. They also eat at different times and its usually one at a time. Hoarding would mean that I have 15 cats in my parents house all at once. Ill move out when I have 300k in cash.

maybe thats the normal situation in `some' countries like you live in- but most landlords (say like myself) dont like to see our properties being devalued so we will pay money to keep its value higher...

it does also mean that we value people who look after what we bought with our own effort

and people that trash places and cause us grief- well we certainly want to know about them- I myself had a renter that caused more damage to my house than she ever paid in rent- I certainly told every person she went to to rent another house about her behaviour- am I a `nasty landlord' for doing so??

some people like 504 seem to think that `wasting money' on renting a place to live in is `wasted money'

well yes- yes it is wasted money...

if having a roof over your head is `wasting your money'

and quite frankly- if 504 went to rent one of my houses- with his attitude- I would be very reluctant to let him rent one of my houses- because he would be likely to be a poor renter that costs me more in repairs than I could ever make from the actual rent
