Why waste hard earned money on rent and have nothing to show for it and pay some fat gross slum lord money for some run down hole in the wall while he jacks the rent up every month.

You get alonG with your parents and it sounds like a livable situation.


Get a real job and start saving more money

Make living there for a reason ; to save money for the future.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with it

In fact, in the Italian culture ; it is very much promoted.

Families are closer and I think this is a good thing.


In the early part of the 20 the century ; here in america many women lived at home til they were married.

It is also SAFER for you to be living at home with people who know and love you.

I lived on my own for many years before I got married and I can tell you

I had some strange things happen

Living at home is NOT something to be ashamed of ;

it is only our f****d up culture that says it is


Many other countries ; it is the norm

Many extended families live together in other cultures and take care of the very young and the very old.

They don't trow their parents into a nursing home to die; this is unheard of in many cultures.


Keep doing what you are doing OP if you are happy

this is important BUT

really save more money!!
