Biochemky User ID: 919411 United States 09/08/2012 02:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Severe weather expert at The Weather Channel, Dr. Greg Forbes, has just issued a TORCON value of 5 (out of 10) for what appears to be the entire northeast from Philadelphia, to Washington, D.C. to New York City, to Connecticut, to Boston, and up through the state of Maine. A TORCON value of 5 means that a person has a 50% chance of seeing a tornado within 50 miles of where they live. There have already been tornadoes in New Jersey, New York (Breezy Point) including the New York City area (Coney Island, Queens), and Connecticut I believe. Heads up everybody in these areas. |
