It ~was intentional. Why do you think the CIA was questionned in regards to their mishandling of the whole mission? Although it was probably orchestrated by enemies of the US (with some 'help'), the CIA's (and FBI's) JOB is to prevent such things from happening. They intentionally ALLOWED it to happen. Intentional inaction (looking the other way, while it went down) is no different than if they had done it themselves.

The movie, "King Kong", produced by Dino de Laurentis (Serpico, Death Wish, The Godfather, Hannibal Lector movies and Stephen King movies) , was shown in 1976, only about 3 years after the opening of the World Trade Center. Look at the poster, the "Beast" is standing on the Twin Towers. I have the official "Ideal" game for children, based on this movie. King Kong is described in it, as being the godlike King of an Asian country whose subjects offered him the gift of a sacrifice: a Human woman (a blond, so one infers that she was not an Asian). It then states that King Kong's "mistake" was that instead of ~killing her, he fell in love! That's supposed to be the reason why King Kong got into trouble, and then wreaked havoc.

The World Trade Center originally cost $400 million, worth $2.3 billion in today's economy. Yes, it was insured, and they (the Mafia owners and our Mafia government or whomever accepted bribes from the owners) had 9/11 planned 25 years or more, before it happened.
