I would think that American intelligence would spot them as they're leaving their ports and bases!
Actually there is a way (I just thought of it).. but it's just too insane and frightening to even contemplate.

Okay, there are probably a dozen holes in this theory but if I can think of it i'm sure that seasoned military experts in Beijing (who don't leave room for holes) can plan something more successful.
