What would happen if the earth's tilt changed drastically? | |

[youtube] Right. But I was thinking more along the lines of the vaccum of space. If our Earth wasn't repelling anything, then it would be drawing things in because of its gravitational pull. In a way, wouldn't the earth behave like a black hole? |

To the extent that its gravitational pull lasts under the conditions. |

Quoting: OlympicLight 23414035 Would we be knocked off our orbit around the sun? Would our rotation speed change? Could gravity be affected? Lately the recent topics about the strange appearance of the moon, earthquakes, and pole shifts have kept me wondering if the earth's angle has changed more than it ever should. Post your theories and answers, I'm interested to know what people have to say :) Think about it like this... What would happen if I clubbed you up aside your head with a baseball bat as hard as I could? Think about it really hard...and you can bet that the answer you come up with on a microcosmic scale would be similar with the earth being knocked out of orbit on a macro scale. Does that help? ![]() watching the "run up" to the elections and the "hopes and dreams" that are built as a result is like watching a dead mouse that is still able to make his exercise wheel go around because his nerves are still twitching that familiar motion... |
