Last Nite I Saw Sirius For The 1st Time
In Miami at 5am It was under Orion's belt to the right of The Moon and Jupiter. I was shocked how much it was flickering it was super dope. The sky's were really clear in Coconut Grove. Crazy!

I got the starwalk app I've been looking up more lately seeing some interesting things. Where they said a satellite was once I was looking at a star flicker/pulse and then it just went out. 2 nights ago.... maybe it was taking pics with a flash...

oh I LOVE the stars!

I got the Skyview app and its cool

I live in a area with no light pollution and on clear nights I look at them and damn near cry... might sound crazy... but the stars hold quite the Majesty in my heart.

I'm happy you got to see Sirius! :)

It is always cool to discover new things.

Happy Gazing!!

Pretty cool, huh? Yeah, right now Sirius is rising just before dawn (helical rising). Really bright, and adjacent to Orion. Lots of the "secrets" in Freemasonry and, hence, the ancient mystery schools, has to do with the position and movement of the stars. Not to mention religion...astrotheology. In the distant past, humankind utilized the night sky for enlightenment regarding orbits, seasons, time, latitude, and many other things.

It's great, too, when it's dark and clear enough out to see the Milky Way. That's an awesome sight.

I hear ya. Not crazy at all. A clear, dark night with the stars very visible elicits strong emotions in those with curious minds. I'm with ya. I love the night time.
