A lot of people who get section 8 are nice people who become nice neighbors. But, there is also plenty of trash out there, section 8 and otherwise.
We have an apartment building next door to us, a 2 flat. The 1st floor is an older lady with a very sweet dog. The upstairs apartment has been empty for 3 months. The people didn't pay their rent, and left. New tenants are moving in right now as I type this. From what I was told, it was supposed to be 1 woman with a 12 year old son. Well, a bunch of gangbangers with a Pit Bull and an ankle biter are moving in, along with this woman and her kid. I am glad there is a full lot between our home and this apartment building, and that we are fenced in. Some previous tenants threw their booze bottles off the 2nd floor porch into our yard, and dumped their other trash right off the 2nd floor porch, with some of it landing in our yard. They were too lazy to walk down the stairs and put the bag in the can.
