Anonymous Coward User ID: 22611128 United Kingdom 09/10/2012 08:58 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation	keep rubbing my eyes in my sleep whats the best way to stop doing this? my eyes feel really sore and blurry in the morning lately and ive noticed that almost every time i wake up i am in the middle of rubbing my eyes quite hard. i want to stop this before i do any real damage, if i havent already. any suggestions would be great thanks.

There really isn`t much you can do while you are sleeping except tie your hands together. tricky one OP.

timbo User ID: 1667886 United Kingdom 03/19/2013 05:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation	Re: keep rubbing my eyes in my sleep you are not alone, i have started doing the same thing and my optometrist even noted it due to my red inflamed eyes. he suggested putting a cold compress on the eyes at night for 5 to 10mins before bed to try and relieve any itchyness that may come during the night. good luck

You won't be rubbing your eyes for long after that. Works all night too.
