Re: California STINK = imminent earthquake?
I'm currently attempting to activate my third eye with daily meditation. With pretty meager results so far...

However, I did get two images flashing through my mind today.

1. a hill or small vulcano exploding.

2. two people kissing, in a kinda gross way actually.

The first could be an upcoming seismic event. The second is anyone's guess. Is there a place known for sexually gross people in this region?

(The relevance of this post is probably close to zero, but hey, it's GLP! You guys need to know!)

Re: California STINK = imminent earthquake?
From weatherspace.com

The sulfur smell is said to be caused by dead fish, however with the recent quake activity down there it very well could be geological ... as the Southern Salton Sea has dormant volcanic activity.

[link to www.theweatherspace.com]

I've never smelled a dead fish that smelled like sulphur, they smell like dead fish and it's different.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 12339688

I agree, they don't smell like sulphur, even when they're rotting. I've lived near the ocean my entire life and once in a while you get that strong dead fish/ocean smell coming off the water, but sulphur it ain't.

Posting from a suburb of Los Angeles.
I've noticed the clouds have been looking very strange in the past week. The weirdest thing is that a company called "BreitBurn Energy" is conducting the "Heritage Seismic Imaging Project" in my area. I've NEVER seen something like this my whole life.wtf

Starting to get that sulfur smell here in Palos Verdes now.
 Quoting: Doomamatrix

ruh roh. I know that area. the PV peninsula in the south bay between San Pedro (LA Harbor) and Torrance. this is the first report of anywhere close to where I am near LAX.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23533583

San Pedro/Palos Verdes is where a landslide occurred last November taking out Paseo Del Mar street. the Palos Verdes fault runs through there. Catalina is also offshore and has earthquakes in the channel. part of Trump's golf course also fell into the ocean there, several years ago.

this report has some good pics and vid. note the lone palm tree still standing:

Ask yourself this... would the guberment warn you if they knew there was an impending 9.5+ earthquake about to strike S. California? Hmmmm? Would they?
In the end it doesn't even matter...

Also, according to Edgar Larkin (1906), who collected a great many accounts, the odour of hydrogen sulphide was noted in the area of Sausalito. He also reported that sulfurous odors were pungent in Napa County during the night of the 17th and 18th before the upheaval, and lasted all day. . . . From many of the letters it is clear that the entire region north and east of San Francisco is saturated with gases of sulfur origin. . . .

In Santa Rosa, according to Lawson and others (1908), a strong smell of sulphur had been noticed two days before the earthquake by one Charles Kobes. Since during an earthquake eight years previously, "sulfur fumes came up from under his house which almost drove his family from home", the recurrence of this phenomenon on 16 April 1906 caused Kobes to tell his family that there would be another earthquake.

Re: California STINK = imminent earthquake?
Just sulphur dioxide. It accumulates during the summer and with recent winds it gets pushed towards the surface giving a rotten egg smell. No mystery here folks. No conspiracy, no predictor of things to come. Just basic science.

Why are people north west of the sulton sea reporting the smell? Wouldn't the wind carry it away from them, to the north east? Unless the winds have shifted.
