Just as those of us along the gulf coast and Atlantic coast are prepared during hurricane season. Just go over whatever plans you have made with your family just in case an emergency occurs. Always better to have all your ducks in a row and be ready. Good luck everybody and stay safe! |

WE CANT HAVE AN EQ TONIGHT, THE RADIERS CHARGERS GAME IS ON Didn't the northridge quake happen during a sporting event also? Wasn't the world series game on...or playoffs or something? | Ranger XRay User ID: 19347183 09/10/2012 06:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I can confirm the smell for sure. I live just a few miles out from the Salton Sea and it smells up really bad about once or twice a year. Damn near revolting. Anyway, could this smell be related as a sensory precursor to seismic activity? That's a really good question. I never really gave it any thought. It sounds illogical, but given how things have been going as of late I wouldn't put it past me. The mysterious boom sounds have been going one all over CONUS and now California is getting it. Fascinating and disturbing at the same time. Has anyone ever bothered to consider the possibility that what is happening may not be an artificially generated noise, but something either a.) Otherworldy? or b.) Celestial? (not to be confused w/Religion/Spirituality), but more synonymous with a celestial body in our solar system. Increasing seismic, volcanic, and unusual storm activity. This is just a thought. Stay frosty GLPers. Ranger XRay "The world is a giant tinderbox. All it takes is for someone to light the match" - Capt. Price |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 17791696 09/10/2012 06:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the salton sea is ALWAYS STINKY due to dead fish and its high high high salt content fish are always dying off its always rotting...etc. ok so now "high winds" are gonna "all of a sudden" bring a smell so big it spreads throughout the state? and u can smell it on the coast as well as way up north, the "high winds" of "smelly fish" could cut thru that thick LA nasty clouds of smog??? I DONT THINK SO. |
