California STINK = imminent earthquake?

Look, nobody knows for sure this is a precursor to an earthquake, but hopefully everyone is prepared just in case. Just as those of us along the gulf coast and Atlantic coast are prepared during hurricane season. Just go over whatever plans you have made with your family just in case an emergency occurs. i remember seeing a video on youtube kinda like what you described. during a baseball game, there was a very loud noise, so loud that every single player on the field ducked and the crowd gasped and jumped too! pretty nuts

exactly. dead fish smell like.. dead fish. i dont see how dead fish in one "sea" would cause most of southern california to smell like sulfur. also, in orange county, i have yet to smell anything, and animal activity is still normal.

They say the source is the salton sea. There was a cluster around there 2 weeks ago.

I can confirm the smell for sure. I live just a few miles out from the Salton Sea and it smells up really bad about once or twice a year. Damn near revolting. Anyway, could this smell be related as a sensory precursor to seismic activity? That's a really good question. I never really gave it any thought. It sounds illogical, but given how things have been going as of late I wouldn't put it past me.

The mysterious boom sounds have been going one all over CONUS and now California is getting it. Fascinating and disturbing at the same time. Has anyone ever bothered to consider the possibility that what is happening may not be an artificially generated noise, but something either a.) Otherworldy? or b.) Celestial? (not to be confused w/Religion/Spirituality), but more synonymous with a celestial body in our solar system. Increasing seismic, volcanic, and unusual storm activity. This is just a thought. What caused the dead fish? Mass sea-life deaths are frequently precursors to earthquakes or volcanos.
