It doesn't take long for society to deteriorate into the stupidity and cruelty of what we see in the stonings, beheadings, prison sentences and beatings in the Arab Muslim countries to punish people for sins like "forcible adultery" (i.e. being raped). All you have to do is turn the justice system and government over to the religious obsessed irrational people who have no capacity for balanced views.

My answer to that is: if you get what you want in eliminating reproductive rights, you can eliminate just about any rights. There wasn't much free speech when the Catholic Church was running society in the Middle Ages.

I would legalize abortion at any given time, fetus have no rights while in the womb because it have the ability to feel of a tomato. I was very very very disturbed to find out my sister in law; who I never really liked; had 3 abortions before my brother and she were married.

My brother and my sister in law had me promise never to tell my mother of her abortions.

My mother would have been devastated to find out my sister in law killed 3 of her grand children.

This is what happened; 3 children will never be known of ...

I have never ; nor will I ever tell my mother. I am not this kind of person

Just because some of your friends claim they regret having an abortion does not make it acceptable for the government to tell others what they can and can't do with their bodies.

Like it or not, an embryo, fetus, baby or whatever the fuck you want to consider it cannot live independently until it is closer to 9 months gestation. I realize that babies are born at 5 1/2 months and are kept alive on machines and are fucked up for life because they were born too early but that does not change the fact that they are being kept alive by ASSISTANCE. Should we make it illegal for next of kin to unplug their vegetable relative from life support? Same fucking deal.
