Fukushima Monster Tuna - Be Afraid...
… almost 3 meters in length. “That is insane.”…

New Zealand scientists want to test if the fish was affected by any fallout.

“It’s exactly the size of the fish that our scientists wanted.”

What does a big tuna have to do with Fukushima? This is ludicrous. Tuna do not grow up in a year!

Idiots!

If you watch the video, which you obviously did not, it said that the fish spawned near fukushima 18 months ago.

If it was 18 months ago, it should only be around 50 lbs at the most right now.

"Should" being the operative word here. This fish could be the result of a disaster...thus the "Monster" in the title.

Indeed, I hope they publish the results of the analysis. Tepco admitted to dumping large amounts of highly radioactive cooling water into the ocean in the early days. They said that they had to in order to make room to store even more highly radioactive cooling water. And that is only what they have admitted to..

Tunas are small and big, depending of the kind!

The Tuna from Tokyo Fishmarket are normally min. 100 Cm
and i saw also bigger ones but 300Cm is already very big!

But not rare!

Let us see what the Analysis is telling us!

The one they caught was a blue-fin, so there is no way it should be that large at 18 months. Yes, the analysis will be interesting.

Just an FYI, but it is possible to end a sentence with a period as well :).

It was near Fuku when it spawned, so the radiated water could have had something to do with ITS size, right?
