My ol ladys dog is acting nervous. He knows its outside on a chain for his ass when she goes to work.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23476251

I feel very sorry for your "ol ladys dog" to have to be put on the end of a chain. If something were to happen, that dog is stuck on that chain! Dogs who are chained are more likely to bite. Dog who are chained develop mental problems. Please train your dog and let it stay inside! Your dog will not guard your home, it will guard the area around it's chain. Robbers can come and rob you house and you dog may bark but your dog probably always barks as most chained dogs do. My biggest fear is dying and coming back as a chained dog. What an awful existence.

didnt someone else have a thread about this today..

yes they did... southern california by sultan sea.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23172245

The post earlier said she was in Pasadena, which is near LA. The salton Sea is about 4 hours away. Past San Diego near Brawley (El Centro area) near the Mexico border.

The OP of the other thread mentioned the Salton Sea to debunk the official report of the smell being from the Salton Sea as it is way tooooooo far to be dead fish.

I also live in SoCal and work in Pasadena area, but don't live here. I am very familiar with the Salton Sea area as it is on the way to Glamis (Imperial Sand Dunes).

The Salton Sea could not produce odors that would be smelt in Pasadena. Prevailing winds don't blow that direction, EVER! Plus it is to great of a distance.

My dogs have been normal. Cats too. I am in southern WV.

I was wondering if the timelines converging may be why animals are acting strange. They may be seeing things we cannot- people and things from other times???

I, personally, have been stressed and anxious.

if you pay any attention to dutchsinse's videos and research you will know that the big EQ's that are happening south of florida are triggering smaller ones up the craton. i suggest looking into the craton and putting on diapers first. ALL ALONG THE EAST COAST. some speculate the craton will go first and trigger the new madrid.

Re: Dog acting weird...anyone else?
Central Florida here. My mother lives a couple of mile from me. She called me yesterday to complain about her dog behaving very nervous. She has 15 year old beagle mix. At one point he managed to get into her vehicle and would not get out. He hates car rides so he has never done anything like that.
 Quoting: momma coop

Sounds like he is trying to communicate with her to get in the car and get them the hell out! Maybe you guys should take a family outing. No need to stress anybody out but chuck your emergency backpack in the car (& lots of water!)and make it sound like a crazy, fun, spontaneous trip to wherever it is that seems safer (and reasonable). It's obviously not that easy to do depending on the size of your family, but it might not be a bad idea. Seems to be what the beagle wants!

Good luck to you all. Take heed of the signs and act with prudence, not hysteria.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23470758

That occurred to me as well. This dog has twice warned us of a fire in moms house. Once a heating pad was left on and started to smolder, another time there was an electrical fire in the walls. The dog barked at the wall and ran around in circles, did the same with the heating pad.
 Quoting: momma coop

Lol - Beagles are great, very clever! He sounds like a fine friend. Keep an eye on him, he'll probably let you know what he wants you to do anyway! hf
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23470758

Mommacoup your mom sounds like a loose cannon! Make certain that pup has a way out of the house at all times since he lacks an opposable thumb to turn doorknobs!thumbs

thANKS, that reminded me of a dream i had this morning with a hobo family who had mean dogs on a chain...i suggested they have animal control called on them because their territorial dispute over a hole they were living in was making dogs attack people at a social event in the park, a baseball game or something. then they were leaving and i started talking to them, they were hardcore hillbilly ragged dirty, and i said i would not call but they really needed to think about controlling their anger and allowing other people to have safe fun...or something...anyway it ended well and me and the dogs were cool with each other.

Same here - past few weeks - both dogs are nervous, and follow me around alot. The smaller of the two won't leave from under my feet, continuously - which is a MAJOR pain in the ass, particularly when you're trying to cook...

So a lot of people here said that they have been having trouble eating and sleeping. I can report the same with myself.

Who knows, it may not just be an earthquake coming. It could be a new govt released virus which will kill all of us off, or maybe massive amounts of radiation are beginning to spread worldwide from Japan.

I am saying it might also be something invisible killing us, that our pets can sense, but we cannot.

Someone mentioned Sep 27 to 30. I remember reading in a couple of places that huge earthquakes were predicted for the western US during late september, according to a couple of different astrologers.

But the date Sep 19th is very significant because of the Pluto and Uranus combination. The last time this exact combination happened was during the 1930s Economic Depression and before WW2. And this same astrological combination of Pluto/Uranus will happen another 5 times after Sep 19th.

I already posted that astrology article talking about the astrological hot dates during the next 3 months, especially December 2012. I really recommend reading it.

Astrology says we are in for some big shit coming soon. And now people's everyday senses are also sensing something big, as well.

For clarification, these dates 9-27 to 9-30 supply the smaller planet "triggers" (in this case the full moon in aries) for the transpersonal uranus/pluto square, which require such triggers to manifest in clear events.
For added excitement, there is Fixed square mars north node along with uranus in mars ruler aries in tandem widd'it.
Of course always give or take a day or two.

A several wks ago I noticed the thunder in the usual afternoon thunderstorms sounded different. It creeped me out and I told my husband. He thought I was being ridiculous until the cat and dog started bolting into our bedroom to hide. Friday night we had yet another thunderstorm. The thunder was normal. The animals did not run. 2 hours into the storm the thunder started to sound strange again and right after I said it to my husband the animals ran to our room and hid.

Yea, there's a whole lot of interesting astrological periods coming up in the next 3 months.

As for religion, let us keep that OFF this thread. I was only replying to that first idiot fundie Christian's Jesus crap, so if they had never brought up their nonsense in the first place, I would not have had to refute it.

If you Christians can't handle other people's arguments, maybe you should keep your idiotic beliefs to yourself?

Our dog (Terrier mix) was also acting strange last night. Usually, if anyone is in the kitchen, she's underfoot begging for food. Last night I was eating a few tortilla chips (her very favorite treat) and she just ignored me - which she has never done before.

I commented on how strange this was to my daughter. Didn't even think anything of it until looking at this forum topic, and then it dawned on me.

Has anyone else here had any problems eating or sleeping during the past 2 weeks? I personally was having very irregular sleep patterns but it is going back to normal finally. Am feeling much more tired than normal.

As for eating, 3 weeks ago I could barely eat anything for a week. Eating as improved finally and is almost back to normal.

Anyone else having these same problems?

Reason I ask is, this is very unusual for me. I can usually eat or sleep as much as I want, with no problem.

Re: Dog acting weird...anyone else?
My 3 year old this month chocolate lab/pointer mix has been acting very strange the last few days. Shes been wandering around the house acting for lack of a better term "nervous". If me, the wife, or kids go to leave the house she acts almost panicky, as if she doesnt want us to leave. If one of us does leave, she sits in our bay window watching the driveway until they come back home. Shes always been protective but not like this...anybody elses dog been acting quirky?
 Quoting: LoneSurviver

my dog's been acting weird for the last month. Anxious, nervous, heck one night I had to sleep on the floor with her cuz I didn't know what was wrong and was afraid I might have to take her to ER vet. I don't know. Other times she just fine. Freaky stuff going on though.

Back on Sept. 10th 2001, my father was sitting outside and said to me "something big is going to happen, it's in the air." I said what are you talking about? Something here at the house? He said "no, in the world. Can't you feel it?"
Really unlike him to do that.

My father has dementia now, and for the last week he keeps coming downstairs and saying "Something big is going on. Have you checked the news? Things don't seem right." He also has no calendar and is not aware of the anniversary of Sept. 11th at all.
