...for what it's worth... my best and dearest friend of thirty-five years was a fairly high ranking officer working at the pentagon on 9/11. He and I were having a beer on the tailgate of the truck a year or so afterward. I asked him point blank if he saw any part of a plane that day. His reply was, "No, but I did see my dead friends."

The fact that:

1. It was one hell of a sophisticated maneuver
2. It flew a couple of feet above the ground at top speed
3. All the CCTV tapes were confiscated
4. It hit the budget office that were working on the missing 2.3 trillion
5. It penetrated several rings of the Pentagon, leaving perfect circular holes just like a cruise missile does. Planes are essentially tin cans, how did this happen?

.. is enough to cause suspect. If there's nothing to hide, release the tapes.

Witnesses? It was caught on tape there was no plane. Looked like a small missile.

Did anyone else catch the newscaster at the site a couple of hours after "the crash" who was talking on the lawn in front of the building and behind him laying on the ground was the jet engine of a plane. The engine was about 3 1/2 to 4 feet at the most in diameter?

I remember thinking that it was a hell of a small motor for such a large plane. I never saw or heard of the report mentioned anywhere after.

It was ONE of the things that started a fire with me, so to speak, about the legitimacy of the whole scenario.

Then I started thinking about NORAD and how many times we were taught in school, on the days we had the "duck and cover" exercises, about how safe we were because of the North American Air Defense system (I was born in '58 and grew up with the Viet Nam conflict). I immediately thought about that, the size of the engine, the buildings collapsing too perfectly, and Bush Jr. not even seeming to give a crap enough to stop reading children's stories when he heard the news our country was under attack and how he should have been getting to Air Force One taking charge. And how it seemed hiding Dick Cheney was more important than the president.

NOTHING that was being claimed added up for me.

But, I do have on great authority flight 93 DID crash. I spend time every night (at a local dog park) with a mortician, who, along with his mortician wife are search and recovery volunteers and both worked recovering bodies at the flight 93 scene and then identifying them. One thing I will say is he doesn't give much detail about that particular "event" like he does when he worked Katrina and the twin towers.
