How does this compare to the event that preceded the Japan earthquake?

There was a mirror set up for a couple days prior to the quake and HAARP Alaska was transmitting at 2.5Hz.

Cant tell now what they are doing since the server is down.

MIT even wrote a paper about how the ionosphere was being heated over Honshu prior to the quake.

H2S precursor? Is rotten eggs smell warning of mega-earthquake in Southern California?

A strong rotten egg smell had Southern Californians plugging their noses and crying foul Monday as air quality investigators scrambled to determine if the sulfurous scent was coming from the Salton Sea.

Investigators from the South Coast Air Quality Management District spread investigators all over the region in an attempt to track the stench after being flooded with 200 complaints since midnight from across much of the district's 10,000 square miles, said Barry Wallerstein, executive for the agency.

Wallerstein said "several factors" indicate the odor could be coming from the Salton Sea, a 376-square-mile saltwater lake about 150 miles southeast of Los Angeles, but there is no definitive evidence yet of this or any other cause.

"The odor was extremely intense," said Janis Dawson of the Salton Sea Authority. "We actually thought that somebody had an accident, a broken sewage main, that's how strong it was."

Um....I think OP was trying to show you the sentence you are claiming they "put in to mislead people" was actually the title of the article. Maybe you should go back and read it again.

No, it's the article that is purposely misleading. They say there is no evidence for the Salton Sea being the cause, but then they discuss it anyway. Why? Because they don't want to panic people with the idea that gasses are starting to vent prior to a big quake.

The study, by the Scripps Institute for Oceanography, just published in Nature Geoscience, points out the alarming fact that the fault beneath the Salton Sea has a track record of producing serious earthquakes with regularity every 180 years or so, but has now gone without producing one for 325.


................In their paper, the oceanographers from Scripps, point out not only the fact that the fault below the Salton Sea is about due to set off an earthquake as large as 7.5 that could very well effect Los Angeles if the shaking moves from south to north following the fault line, but that such a quake could also cause the soil in the local bays and estuaries to liquefy; something that could cause nearby buildings to sink into the earth, such as that which happened in Japan’s latest earthquake........................

Hope it doesn't happen.. but it will, someday.
