Anyone else who likes the combination of a cigarette and a coffee in the morning?

I'm making the second pot of the day--fresh ground french roast beans--wrapping up another bali shag red to smoke with the first cup, steaming hot
the rest will be cooled to sip through the evening, iced

Before my son I was a chain smoker and drank coffee all day.
I also worked about 50 hours a week, in a restaurant wherein all employees smoked, the establishment itself was an all-smoking seating area, and most of the customers smoked as well.

I quit when I got pregnant and picked it up again about a year and a half after my son was born.

voila.

for some twenty years i got out of bed, and slumped towards the sofa where the cigarettes and ashtray were; after that it was time for coffee, then breakfast with more coffee.

i almost quit coffee in the morning; i found i need it too much to get awake; it's better to improve on sleep quality. i still smoke in the morning, but only after breakfast.

but black coffee and a cigarette on an empty stomach, is a beautiful wake-me-upper. the smells and tastes work together like morning magic.

Used to. Then took a huge shit. Haven't had caffeine in 6 years.

LOL, they eat for practically free at school, and the football team gets a huge free dinner the night before a varsity game...and with practices I really don't shop much during football season...

For me it's weed and coffee... lots of coffee

My grandpa starts his day like this - Love the smell of coffee, Winstons & hot toast in the morning.

Starbuck French Roast brewed properly in a Mocha Master coffee maker or a Kerug (both brew at 192.5 degrees. Optimal temp for perfect coffee to get the flavor but no bitterness.

A cup of that coffee with a touch of real half & half and a good ole' Marlboro Light Gold.

My morning ritual for many years now...

No it's lousy for my body, I know. Bu it sure tastes and feels good, And it's a great way to erase the ravages of the night..

Life is really good when the kids are in school, even better when I get all the Turkish delights to myself!

I'm taking a coffee and vape break now. What are you doing?

Cigarettes are gross. I smoke organic tobacco from a briar pipe, and drink organic coffee from a French press.

Let me guess, you dislike weed though ?

I'm happy with a coffee, a wank, a wash & spliff...

Unfortunately I have to admit it. I hate them, I hate them, I hate them. Cigarettes are one last addiction that I have to quit. The day is coming. My kids are on my case hard lately. I lost my father who was 52 yrs old, 2 pack a day smoker and he enjoyed his coffee. He had a heart attack (aneurism). My 47yr old brother just had a major heart attack (aneurism), lucky for him he was able to recover. He also is a pack a day smoker. Me, I am going to be 44yrs old in 2 months and I smoke a pack a day and enjoy my coffee. You would think that I would know better from my family history but I am too thickheaded. I know I must quit, I was addicted to drugs years back and now I have to quit this nasty habit they call smoking (it should be called suiciding, if that makes any sense). This thread is just helping me realize more and more that I MUST quit if I want my KIDS to have a father around when they get older.
