I know in the UK that pet food has to be fit for human consumption. Whether it would taste very nice is a different matter.

Yep, just chill the cans in the fridge so it slides out in the shape of the can.

Cut small tournedos and pan sear in grapeseed oil.

You want to cook it like foie gras, get a nice little crust while still maintaining the shape.

Place the tournedos on a square white plate, preferably on a chunk of raw dog food to keep it in place, then sauce with a nice Bordelaise.

When complete, sprinkle with a Snuasage Brunoise .
