Govít stops helping Fukushima Daiichi workers with medical care
Really this is just well no wordsverysad

The Japanese health ministryís halt to subsidies for medical checkups for some subcontracted workers at the stricken Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant is making it difficult for some of them to continue having regular checkups.

Nobody seems to acknowledge the fact that Japan cannot possibly fund the consequences of this fiasco at Fukushima.

In the absence of transparent information sharing and international intervention.. this catastrophe will only worsen.. until foreign governments are forced into action by massive public outcry ..

In my humble freakin' opinion..

Your and Enenews Interpretation is wrong,
the Main-Message is that the Work in Daiichi
is not "Emergency-Work" anymore,
for the Worker it is much safer,

Max. allowed Level for Emergency Work is afir 250 Millisievert,
for Non-Emergency Work it is afir 100 Millisievert!

It is not a big "Cover Up",
even you are able to Research this!

A Worker in a Nuclear Plant,
no matter if he is a "Real Employee"
or coming as a "Nuclear Gypsie",
is allowed to accumulate a
number of Millisieverts in a specific Time-Frame.

There are two Main-Groups:

1. The Work under normal Circumstances
2. Emergency Work

As long as the Work is declared as a "Emergency Work"
as long the max Dosage can be afir 2,5 Times as high
as normal!

In this Time the Employee need to provide Extra Care
for the Worker and a hard medical Monitoring/ Check Ups.

When the Work is not declared as a Emergency Work
anymore the max allowed Dosage must return to the
"normal Standard Dosage" and the medical Monitoring
will decrease!

Radiation Safety and Protection of Workers in Nuclear and Radiological Emergency Operations

Site Workers Exposure

[link to www.tepco.co.jp]

Nuclear Radiation and Health Effects
Fukushima

The March 2011 accident at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in Japan released more radioactivity than Three Mile Island, but much less than Chernobyl, probably about 570 PBq (iodine-131 equivalent), and the effects are still being assessed. Certainly the main radiation exposure was to workers on site, and some 167 workers received doses over 100 mSv. Of these 135 had received 100 to 150 mSv, 23 150-200 mSv, three more 200-250 mSv, and six had received over 250 mSv - the limit set for emergency workers there, apparently due to inhaling iodine-131 fume early on. There were around 250 workers on site each day. INES rating 7.

jmount9teen Oh yes it is. People are seriously ill in their tens of thousands and the hospitals refuse to see and treat them. Yet you sit there saying everything's alright when it is not.

I am not saying "Everything is alright",
how can i say it with three molten Cores
in Daiichi?

Here in this Thread i just explained what
it really means that the Work in F'Shima
is not declared as "Emergency Work"!

Your second Statement is wrong!

japangarblinker Yeah your right, it's hundreds of thousands. In the USA people who speak out too much about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill are murdered and the MSM say everything is A OK, but it's not.

Without ever having been there I can confidently say that a simular thing is happening in Japan. Wanna know how I know. It's simple really: the Japanese Yakuza are heavily involved in supplying workers to Fukushima, people who owe money to the loan sharks. It's either pay up right now, a knife in the back or go to Fukushima, and to add insult to injury the "employment agency" takes 60% or more of what they earn, Most of these people are your society's down and outs, so not many people care.

In Italy the Mafia handle nuclear waste disposal and very sophisticated about it they are to. Fill an old ship up with drums full of the stuff and sink it in the Mediterranean. It's a well known fact that the Yakuza are involved in all sorts of stuff.

You ain't pulling the wool over my eyes.

@ Judethz,

why do you mix up so many different Topics?

Yes, the Yakuza is involved but they do not
play a major Role, the Police think that ca.
1 Worker from 8 comes from a Yakuza related
Business, this are ca. 3.750
(from ca. 30.000 Subcontracted People)
but they are not all there at Gun Point!

Some are but not everyone!

Why do you fail to bring Sources for the
10.000 of sick People?

I am attending a monthly Meeting since 05/11
where we exchange our Information,
no one reported big Numbers, we are already
surprised that there are not more Victims
but we know that this can/ will change in the Future!

greenstreamharunii Perhaps it comes from an ingrained attitude.

When I was growing up in the mid 50s we lived in Mt Shasta, that's a dormant volcano in Northern California very simular in a lot of ways, including it's beauty, to Mt Fuji. One day when my dad was walking my sister and I up the hill to school I asked him why the snow was green.

His reply was that it was from the nuclear bomb testing in Nevada. You see how careless our government was about our health back then. Let me tell you: If you die from cancer because of radiation poisoning they would sooner say you got ran over by a bus than admit the truth.

I say your government is as bad as ours. Don't you understand that all this playing around with "facts and figures" is just a lie.

@ Judethz,

you are phunny, because your Government lied to you
means that i am lying too!
Rofl Popcorn

But the World is not working in that Way
and now with the Internet it becomes (nearly) impossible to lie!

There is no Accident in our World which is more observed
than F'Shima and there is no other Group of People who are
screened that much like the People around that Plant,
to lie and to hide something is nearly impossible!

Japan is not the USA,
the Families here work in a different Mode
and many People here are much closer connected
to each other, the Gossip Factor is high
and you can't hide Thousands,
or Ten-Thousands of sick People!
