Mt Raineer has been more active the past week than all year, Mt St Helens has been saying hello, We have been on a fire alert for over a week, no rain in sight, (hasn't rained in 6 weeks or so) odd for portland/vancouver... So has there been a sulfer smell in Oregon? I hadn't heard anything about that. I mentioned to some people in OR that they should have a bag in case of earthquake. They basically laughed at me. I think they are only concerned with volcanoes due to St Helen's saying hello years ago. |

As far as Or residents being concerned of quakes, the only places doing community action is the coastal cities. WSU did a comprensive study on the reprecussions of a quake in regards to ground liquification. I will try to produce a link for that pdf live to serve; serve to live. |
