Quoting: mathetes The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) expresses strong condemnation of the film produced and promoted by US Coptic Christian individuals, which deals serious insults to the Prophet Mohammed. The party considers the film a racist crime and a failed attempt to provoke sectarian strife between the two elements of the nation: Muslims and Christians. Moreover, the FJP considers this movie totally unacceptable, from the moral and religious perspectives, and finds that it excessively goes far beyond all reasonable boundaries of the freedoms of opinion and expression. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1194370 United States 09/12/2012 09:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes OP, pray for them and for our brothers and sisters throughout the world who are suffering persecution. This much I know - the Christians in Egypt have eternal life. And a most precious gift it is... And the one who have given us eternal life is faithful to fulfill His promise. And what a promise it is! No eye has seen or ear has heard the things which God has prepared for His children. But then consider for a moment those who are lost in the darkness. Those for whom the god of this world has blinded. Perhaps we could also pray for those souls who are suffering without the love and light and promise of Christ. It seems they also need our prayer. They are the ones who do not know the light of Christ. They are the ones who do not share in the promise. I recall Jesus died for us while we were yet in darkness. May we pray for those that remain in darkness to this day. peace, |

Resister User ID: 1461638 United States 09/12/2012 10:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It doesn't take any real conviction or bravery to be a Christian here in America. In Egypt people are litterally dying for their faith. Come quickly Lord. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Love and hate are real. Empathy and selfishness are real. Life and death are real. Forget about the rest of the bullshit that's stacked on top of the foundational truths. Taking lives is not right. Ignoring the needs of others when you have the ability to help is not right. Base your decisions on whether the whole is better or worse for the option you choose and watch the world improve. Unfortunately people on the whole are selfish, hating assmonkeys and that's why we live in the shithole civilization that we find ourselves in today. |

Every day for five minutes control your imagination and close your eyes to all the noises of the world in order to enter into yourself. Then, in the sanctuary of your baptized soul (which is the temple of the Holy Spirit) speak to that Divine Spirit, saying to Him: O Holy Spirit, beloved of my soul, I adore You. Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, console me. Tell me what I should do; give me Your orders. I promise to submit myself to all that You desire of me and to accept all that You permit to happen to me. Let me only know Your Will. If you do this, your life will flow along happily, serenely, and full of consolation, even in the midst of trials. Grace will be proportioned to the trial, giving you the strength to carry it and you will arrive at the Gate of Paradise, laden with merit. This submission to the Holy Spirit is the secret of sanctity. This is for my brothers and sisters in far away lands...
