The KJB is the same as the Geneva 1560, so KJ and the Anglican translators did not rewrite the Bible. What they did was remove the Geneva Bible notes of the Reformers, added inside the cover a calender w/Rome's holidays. The Puritans were rejecting those holidays at the time; and KJ expelled the Puritans from the country. The King James Bible is the best english translation there is.
