The Republican Party and the Death of America
Two political parties control the USA and some believe there
is conspiracy between them to maintain control and they are
usually working together. The last few years have proven this
to be false. In fact the US has never been so divided since
the Civil War. These parties have become diametrically opposed. From the time Obama became President top ranking
Republicans had only one basic agenda, to remove him from
office. It did not matter what his policies were automatically
they were against them. In fact the Republican party of today
represents nothing but big money and policies to benefit
the rich. If any of you believe the Republican party truly
represents the right to life and Christian right you and the
Christian right are very naive. Except that Democrats stand
for equal rights for gays and a womens right to choose which
often antagonizes the Christian right, there is absolutely
nothing Christian about todays Republicans - the fat cats
who only stand for the fat cats and the hell with the rest
of us.

And what will happen if Republican triumph in the coming
election. 1. The end to universal health care; Republicans
hate it and would rather have poor people dead and the
middle class deeply in debt. 2. Massive unemployment leading
to a full scale Depression; Republicans have sworn to cut
back on government spending and eliminate as much government
as possible and like it of not the government is the biggest
employer and payer of salaries in the US; so a big spending
cut backs by government will cause much more un-employment;
economic havoc and a world wide depression.

It has often been said that Democrats stand for big
government and there is some truth to this; But given the
choice who would you rather have in control, Government or
money fat Billionaires whose sole purpose is to enslave you
to their money?

Is there a difference? Both are so knotted together I say there is not, furthermore This is not the result of one political party as an independent thats easily recognizable. To place blame on repubs when demos have a rather high income themselves is a seriously flawed view on the reality of our political system. The true problem comes from campaign funding and the fact that most of our 'representives' are not a true representation of the people whatsoever.

funding Republicans and that is especially true when it comes to campaign funding.
Government of the people; for the people and by the people is becoming government of big
money, for big money and by big money. You tell me there is no difference there. And when
you quote from Orwell's "Animal Farm" I remember reading that book -- the pigs

My point is that regardless of a D or an R it's the same lip service from some rich person looking for more of that fake $$$ to continue that lifestyle. So NO there is no difference in Big Government or Big Money. We need a new system and new leadership in all 3 branches of the government that is a TRUE representation of the people.

Unfortunately true. Believe it or not I am still a registered
Republican as I haven't had time to switch to independent.
And why am i a registered Republican declaring
the Republican party as the bad guys or at least the worser
of two evils. Facts show that this Republican party has done
everything in their power to prevent universal heath care
in any form and by so doing have set the United States
into a class warfare. The tea parties agenda to fix government
by eliminating as much government spending at a time when
government spending is keeping the country going {I'm not
saying this is a good thing but it is a fact} is more of
a threat to the stability of the US than any gang of terrorists. I'm not saying I disagree with conservative principles completely but conservative economics at this time in this economy is suicide.

Show me WHERE in any government document that Health Care is a "right" of any one? You choose to single-out one issue, yet neglect the Pro Choice/Pro-Life debate (23 Million & counting).

If you are an "Independent", you obviously have NO core values.

The sad reality is that we have the illusion of choice in this country and if you think Barry has your best interests at heart, vote for him. DON'T be "surprised" by the results...

Being 'slaves to their own baseless patriotism' doesn't
bother me and I suppose many of them think they really
represent patriotism BUT what I'm trying to say is
their patriotism is based on the foolish premise that
'free-market' capitalism is by its very nature patriotic
when the recent market crash and real estate bust in 2008
proves nothing could be further from the truth. And what
worries me the most is given the opportunity we will all
become slaves to the billionaires and the lackeys who
support the current right-wing Republican {Tea Party} agenda.

Whatever you think about Obama and the Democrats, if you
have been following what has been going on in Congress
it is obvious that the Republican Party is most
responsible for dividing this country along class and
money lines - a division so sharp that is threatens the
stability of the country.

Interesting website. Problem is too large a percentage of
the voting public is essentially brain dead. Those on the
political right will not read or listen to any politics
that oppose favorite policies of great BS artists of theirs
such as El Rushi {Rush Limbaugh} who keeps feeding them
BS while he smokes his ten dollar a stick cigars and blows
smoke up their you know what. Has anyone noticed that the
current Republican party has become the extremists and
servant of billionaire capitalists whose only agenda
is to 'own' the US literally and to enslave the population
to their money? And the lies they feed the public to achieve
their selfish goals get better all the time. One poster
here said the Democrats were Communists! The Communists
were another group of political mobsters who used the
sick philosophy of Karl Marx to enslave the people to
the state; very much like the conservative right that
wants to enslave the population to their money, banks,
and Wall Street special interests.

Did you watch the debate? Nothing new. Both candidates
repeating what you see over and over in the political
commercials. However one point made again by Romney on his
desire to shrink government {accept the military} is worth
stressing. If in a still weak economy where like it or
not the government is the biggest employer and biggest
payer of salaries in the US, to suddenly cut back on
government would be a disaster and could easily create
a major depression. What happens to those suddenly
un-employed government workers? Does Romney really expect
us to believe that there will be a magical renaissance of
business hiring that will compensate? Not in this world.
Unless Romney has an ace up his sleeve. Maybe he wants to
create another war to take up the un-employed his policies
would create. I could understand how some people may not
be satisfied with Obama because the economy is still not
100% but he inherited a problem left by the previous
administration and was dealing with a big handicap in that
the sole purpose of the Republican party for the last four
years has been to re-take the white house and congress to further their totally one sided big business agenda so the
millionaires and billionaires like Romney can get richer
still. Today's Republican party is a party of economic pigs.

Now in searching the web after the debate I found the
'conspiracy nuts' {yes, and I too am a conspiracy studier},
are suddenly spouting. They are upset that Obama was being
too easy on Romney, after all you remember the way he walked
over McCain in the last election. I was upset with what
appeared to be a genuine warm handshake and smile for Bomney
before the debate began. After-all this election has hardly
been friendly if you have been watching the political
commercials. And even the analyst on PBS was saying he could
have got Romney in some obvious untruths such as the lie
about him taking money directly out of Medicare. Every
athlete has an off game and let us hope Obama's performance
improves in the next debate. Personally I believe Obama is
capable of walking over Romney in a debate and let us hope
in the next one he does just that because unfortunately a
fairly substantial part of the voting public is not voting
because of facts or reason but rather by who wins {as it so appears} and comes out looking like the winner. Obama must
convince the public that 'he really believes' that Romney as
President is unacceptable and a threat to the economy and
people of the United States.

osuper -Remember the great boxer Muhammed Ali who beat
George Foreman with the Rope-a-dope? Next debate I will
KO Romnery with 'the Obama Shuffle'. We have seen enough

TRUE! And the problem with an un-intelligent voting block
is it can be bought and manipulated by factors having
little, if anything to do with the issues.

Has the last 4 years where Republicans almost without
exception did all they could to block at least 90% of
Obama's agenda to help the country really reflect the
good of the American people? Or in fact does it show that
the Republican party and the big money it represents will do
anything to gain more political power? This election is
not between so-called capitalist and so-called socialists
{sometimes even called communists when that is an out and
out lie}; Rather this election is between a socially aware
political party {the Democrats} and a group of economic
political racketeers - the Republican Party of today.

"What I find fascinating is the number of Reagan republicans who've made serious anti-republican statements in the last 8 years. It started with one of Reagan's chief economic advisers who wrote an amazing piece in Forbes about how "The republican party has destroyed America".

Then just a few months ago another one of Reagan's economic geniuses, the guy know as "the father of trickle-down economics", said basically the same thing.

Charlie Crist left the party and speaks out against them now.

and there are many many more.

Seriously, I don't understand how anybody who is not a multimillionaire immoral lying sack of shit greedy pig faced white male could vote republican."
