Message Subject When TSHTF and money is worthiness and you're not working, what happens when you pay rent?

I own a rental property. If money is worthless, I fail to see why I should go to the effort to collect something worthless (equal to a pail of dirt) from the lady living in my spare house.

Besides, I think I want to keep her there to avoid having an empty property.

Exactly. You'd probably be ahead to have someone making sure the pipes don't freeze, the yard stays cleared, the windows aren't broken out. Besides, most of us aren't stupid assholes. Throwing a renter out means you think you have another renter lined up who can pay. There won't be one in this scenario.

Here's the wild card. The hipsters with trust funds always have money. But the landlord must be in a trendy neighborhood with artist types.
