BREAKING: Many explosions in Cairo!

Yeah looks like some molotovs...watching FOX right now...some guy they had there said "Surrounding the Embassy"...then got cut off....seems like some clashes with security guys....but their "security forces" ain't really cuttin' the ice...

It doesn't look bad now, I'm trying to find the original video Fox showed.

But I think it was Molotov cocktails, a fuck ton of em'!!!!

It was very brief, but I saw about 13 separate explosions..it's sort of died down.

Anyone know what time it is there?

Isn't it hilarious? In a way at least - there's actually NOTHING going on, you know most people don't know about what's actually going on here? I'm dead serious, lol. Some of the crowds in the back are "onlookers", like after a car wreck, lmao. The laser pointers must be the soccer hooligans...makes for GREAT effect for Sheeple TV.

What's the point of having all that military might if you allow one of your ranking officials to be killed and dragged through the streets like a dog !?

After this incident, US embassies should be fortresses, guarded by Abrams tanks and Apache helicopters...that OR just remove the embassy all together and cut diplomatic ties !

If Obama mounted an overwhelming response with a few hundred marines backed by tanks and helicopters immediately after the incident it would have discouraged any further attacks on US interests in the ME...but instead he choose to apologize to them ! Truly sad !

I understand its all a ploy, but I have nothing to do today.
So I'm waiting to see if it gets worse tonight to further stoke the flames of war.

Unfortunately, it's all just a game.

Seems to me that there are a lot of energetic young men out having a good time just kind of hanging around and shining a laser pointer.

No one has shot anybody, or even seems very angry.

Sure, it is livelier than we usually see things get in the west, but it all seems kind of like a street festival, rather than an angry mob.

Looks like security has it under control for now.

I hope those kids will just go home to avoid any kind of provocation or escalation, because that's what the desired outcome is here once again. And I seriously hope nothing happens tomorrow, people should stay home and let it be taken care of legally at this point. The Bishop (acting Pope) of the Coptic Church just said he condemns this movie and IF this indeed was done by a egyptian copt, he would expel him from the Church and put him on trial for treason. This is not the first time people abroad try shit like that. Baba threatened the exact same thing last year when Copts abroad tried to stoke the flames and even asked for outside intervention during sectarian tension. The push is imo to get troops into Egypt.

It's now just before 10pm here. I hope they all leave or at least go to Tahrir like most did already.

Exactly what it is, young kids who have nothing better to do on Thursday night, the green lasers are the same one's soccer fans use, which are so annoying. Since there's still a ban on audience in soccer matches, I guess that is another passtime for them now. Beats hanging around the Koshk or aimlessly drive around on a bike....they're bored kids...maybe even got slipped a 50 bill along with some fireworks to make a good show.
