I checked a couple of them. From what I understood you suspect your grandfather and father were members of some secret societies but I did not see much indications of such from the photos myself (And I am a Freemason, Rosicrucian and Martinist)

The Illuminati had infiltrated the Catholic church hundreds of years ago, & vice versa, as they are dialectically opposed to each other.

The Illuminati believe in mankind achieving it's divine potential, the C.C. wished to enslave mankind, just look what they did to the worlds leading scientists of the day!

Vehicles such as the knights Templar & the Jesuits were created by the Illuminati to destroy the Church from within. (Or, more accurately with the Jesuits, create an example of a society that benefits mankind, such as the communes they created in South America)
The C.C. were so freaked out that their beloved Knights Templar were GNOSTICS that they were very careful not to let this sort of infiltration happen again!

The Illuminati now consider that the Catholic Church's day has been, that they are nothing more than a feeble old man, & no longer worry about any infiltration crap.

Absolutely. After the Protestant Reformation (1517) the RC began to lose control. Then the Enlightenment (so-called) caused the entire HRE to unravel. Holy Rome was a wash. They had to abolishing those unpopular Jesuits in 1773 as the 1776 Illuminati & NWO, which began replacing the HRE. Whether all this was done deliberately or in-fighting only they know and is rather irrelevant. One faction replaced the other; meet the new boss same as the old boss. The only difference in the New and the old is we are not forced to be Catholic.

What you have is a film with a collection of fact interpreted through the eyes of a Catholic to remove the Vatican of any guilt. There is the alleged USSR Illuminati documents; and the Russian Orthodox Archbishop assassination.

The USSR KGB Illuminati documents would better be explained that the KGB/Cheka was founded by the Vatican's Illuminati, a Catholic priest.

The Orthodox Archbishop died while sitting next to the pope in what looks like an assassination of the Orthodox Archbishop who likely opposed unity between the two churches so the Vatican could replace him with one of their own waiting in the wings.

The confusing thing with the illuminati is that there seems to be two different groups with entirely different agendas that are both labeled with the name.

There's the "old" illuminati as referenced in this video that want to overthrow religion etc and still maintain today that they want to do so.

Then there's the people currently in power that conspiracy theorists say are the illuminati.

The thing is the first illuminati still maintain they want to overthrow the second illuminati.

I think the second (people in power) group are NOT the illuminati but they are some Masonic offshoot that instead of liberating as they should have done got power hungry and did the opposite but I'd like to know for sure.
