This is big news!

So...what is the angle?? How does this help Obama?

"Some of the missing papers from the consulate are said to list names of Libyans who are working with Americans, putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups, while some of the other documents are said to relate to oil contracts."

Sounds like some more people over there who are helping Americans are about to be thrown under the bus. If people keep getting run over, nobody is going to want to help America.

I said in many of the embassy threads today that I read in the News Paper before all this happened about this threat. Here is the article, I can't find the original on Al Masry Al Youm where I read it, plus it was arabic, so here another one. But proof what I said in the other threads was true!

Egyptian intelligence is warning of Global Jihad terrorists' intention to carry out terror attacks against the Israeli and US embassies in Cairo, Egypt's al-Masry al-Youm newspaper reported Tuesday.

The newspaper claims it has record of a letter dated September 4 addressed to the deputy interior minister, General Sami Sidhom, saying that the national security department at the general intelligence HQ has informed the interior ministry on plans by terrorists in Egypt and Gaza to attack the embassies.

Not necessarily if General Sami Sidhom didn't foreward the memo to him.

To know who was complicit you need to follow the money...who benefits from what's happening now? And really, why were there no guards at the Embassy and the Ambassador protected properly? After all, in Libya, many attacks happened and so many threats all the time against US consulates and envoys. The whole thing was suspicious from the beginning...and I remembered reading this article about a threat issued before all this happened.

Good point. So what happened? I do remember a few weeks ago, there was also a threat level raised, and I saw more police around where Embassy staff lives etc...I think it was in mid August. So something was planned that they knew about.

I hope not. I hope this will be all investigated because obviously it stinks, and the people responsible for all this mess get punished according to law. Just pisses me off that this man had to die leaving behind 2 children and a wife, of course the others too, shouldn't have happened and could have been prevented. Justice has to be done...but some shit might hit the fan for it to be REAL Justice. Just my opinion...could also blow over. We will watch:)

Hmmm....so, let me play devils advocate a little.

Lets say Obama did NOT know about this. Obviously the warning was 48 hours before it happened, so that means Sunday nite they got the notice?

So what was all this news about that he had missed his "Security Briefings"? or was it something else? I saw it mentioned on GLP a view times and on MSM...people were annoyed he's not attending them and running the country.

So, maybe, what IF, someone "advised" him to miss the briefings because there was more "important" stuff going on regarding re-election etc. Someone told him "we got it, if there's a real emergency, we'll fill you in".

So that could be the reason for him missing the briefings, not knowing about it, and later getting blamed. So who would want that?

So many questions and no answers...yet.

I'm just thinking out loud...just all this makes me go "Hmmmmmm"!
