Ron Paul: "Country Should Panic Over Fed's Decision"
[link to www.zerohedge.com]

What took Ben Bernanke sixty minutes of mumbling about tools, word-twisting, and data-manipulating to kinda-sorta admit - that in fact he is lost; Ron Paul eloquently expresses in 25 seconds in this Bloomberg TV clip. Noting that "we are creating money out of thin air," Paul sums up Bernanke's position perfectly "We've Lost Control!"

We are so FUCKED!

Re: Ron Paul: "Country Should Panic Over Fed's Decision"
I think the country should have panicked over what the Fed is saying that we have lost control and the only thing we have left is massively creating new money out of thin air, which has not worked before, and is not going to work this time.”

Violent and deadly protests breaking out all over the world against the US...
THe political rhetoric is heating up...

And oh yeah, QE3 just passed...

We should all be VERY afraid!!! But very few have heard the bad news, and of the few that heard, not enough understand or care. For those of us who heard and understand, though, the final preps are being made.

People do not understand how bad this is. The Fed is buying 40 billion in mortgage backed securities and transfering money to banks who are not lending it.

Clearly you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. Every dollar they printout of thin air makes the ones in your wallet/bank (if you have any) worth less until, in the not so distant future, they become worthless. Google Weimar Republic.

I think the ME turmoil may be a temporary distraction, and a pretext for WWIII, as this is what they need to bail themselves out. It's History repeating itself.

the federal reserve is a company all on its own. They have the power from which the banking system and currency system undergoes changes. They are a private entity from the current system and they see what either goes in or out. The ones in power are in control of the reserve and will not let it fall. If the federal reserve goes, that will be a great day assured.

Well to be fair to Bernanke, this was his only option, he had painted himself into a corner months before.

I've always said QE3 would be the last for the FED, and since this is now neverending, it appears I was right. It's unfortunate that we find ourselves in this position, but stalling the inevitable was only that, stalling.

Fiat Keynesian Money Systems were never meant to be perpetual motion machines. The live on inflation, and when the bubble finally bursts, it resets and begins inflating again. It is a system that drains the bottom and pumps it to the top, it is designed to keep a large percentage of the population perpetually poor, and small portion perpetually rich, and until we as a population begin to understand economics, we will have this system, because frankly, it's the best system for the Powers That Be and the Elite...

Exactly right! As I said, History repeats itself, and sometimes with the drainage or burst of bubble like you said came a World War.

Considering all the doom and gloom those who flock to this site are constantly anticipating(for good reason), I wonder how many here realize what today's Fed decision will mean.

THIS is concrete, done deal type doom and gloom, folks!

What Helicopter Ben did today was essentially a controlled demolition of what's remaining of our economy.

Does anyone know about the Fed's charter ending soon?

I keep reading about it but can't find a damn thing that is concrete.

If true, their charter is ending, then they probably don't give a damn anymore and are busily buying up all hard assets as we speak on this forum.

Throwing money at the economy to make it better is like throwing money at teacher's salaries. Neither one solves the problem.
