If you are seriously thinking about leaving the US, I'd suggest that you begin your preparations NOW. Don't wait until the elections, less than 2 months away. All it will take from Obama is one of his sneaky little Friday or Sunday night Executive Orders and all of the Borders will INSTANTLY be closed, at least to anyone trying to get OUT. Don't forget, he has already granted himself power over ALL transportation, which includes airports, trains, even bus stations. And whether he wins or loses, he still has from November until the end of January to implement his nefarious schemes. In fact, those months may truly be THE most dangerous times in the entire History of our Country in terms of the destruction which I have no doubt he will cause.

Unfortunately, the majority of us are not "footloose and fancy-free" and MUST stay here, either because of no money or previous obligations (or both).

Not an easy task. Took me two years to become fluent in Spanish (I even lived with a family for 2 months in Costa Rica as part of this process and have a fluent girlfriend) and Spanish is far easier than Arabic.

I speak 8 languages and Russian, Arabic and Mandarin (which I am studying now) are NOT easy... a magnitude more difficult to me than any other languages I have learned.
