Ordering all that hollow point is just plain stupid. In a combat situation, after the first few rounds have been fired, everyone left standing seeks cover. Hollow point doesn't penetrate cover as well as military ball ammo. If this purchase was meant for sniping they would most likely load military ball ammo and top the mag off with a couple of hollow point rounds. So, for every hollow point round ordered they should be ordering 10 rounds of ball ammo. Who ever is in charge of ordering this stuff isn't very smart. But I agree with what others have stated. These agencies do not need all this ammo. They're obviously planning for war. But they're forgetting you can't fight a war with 9 to 5 people. Its a 24 hour business so I'm not sure who they think they're turning into an army. |
